CheckROM Revolution v4.0

No Wipe.

JKay theme and Deluxe settings v13.2 installed.

So far... so good.

Flashed Void echo kernel and an XWKJ3 Services Patch.BLN.DEODEX.zip (that I think hawker recommended for the last ROM) and BLN is working great!

However, CWM did not like the Void echo kernel... does like the Siyah 2.3 though.
 
So far so good. Siyah works well with it. One thing though, maxthon mobile browser came with the rom right? Or did I download it one night when I'd had a few and completely forgot about it.

Alcohol induced amnesia... well known condition.

Am going through the Kitchen now and re-installing stuff again.

So far..

AndroidZapsApple boot animation

Kies Support

Font Pack

etc, etc. Everything has re-installed from Kitchen.

(Good news hawker. sileshnair's, Flying-Flip animation for Dlev ROM works fine)


Great... that's all mod's from the Kitchen re-installed + JKay v13.2 Theme and Deluxe settings as well as BLN up and running.

No problems so far on this ROM.
 
Think I'll sit this out for a while, especially after all those Siyahs...

I like me transparent widgets and dialler too much to jump in just yet. :D
 
criskelo's 3d dialler is my top choice.
I dont think this is firmware specific, so should install ok.
just finished my Friday Chicken Phall, so its flashing time for me!
Also got UltraToxic to bash about a bit, but I might go with the flow and do this one as a no-wipe, and try UltraToxic with a full wipe later. I'm suprised its a no wip tho, as its a new android version
I'll try UltraToxic with a full wipe later, just for a nosey.

hey ho! the trials and tribulations of an addicted rooted andriod device flasher just gets too much for me at times! :D

this is what i've done so far:
1. install void echo
2. install green circle battery
3. installed bln patch
4. fidddled adhosts to install on KK5
5. installed flying flip statusbar animation
6. kies suport
7. font pack
8. samsung dive
9. calendar wakelock fix
10. camera hack
11 installed jkay 13.2

so far so good

How odd.

When I flashed Void echo it didn't want to play nicely with CWM. :confused:
 
hmmm. how strange.
no problems here butty.
first thing i did was flash void on, and i've done numerous flashes since as you can see.

Not too sure on the battery. I suppose it took about 20% downloading and flashing but the rest has seemed to have been rinsed. I guess I'll have to see how it performs after a charge. Times like these I wish I had my charger with me.

Yeah... that's what I've had to do. Siyah 2.3 works fine with CheckROM v4. Pity, I was getting to like Void echo. :rolleyes:
 
I never use CWM manager anyway, and even with void, there are still a lot of functions still enabled. What is missing exactly? I cant be bothered putting Siyah back on now to test. I've been flashing all night! :D

The only bit that seems to be missing from CWM is the section headed, "Backups", containing... Backup, Restore and Delete.

Don't worry about the flashing old son... I doubt if anyone noticed. :rolleyes:
 
Am sticking with void. No great loss if cwm app not functional, no great fuss to use recovery instead
 
Ditto about the no great lose. I'm not actually sure where the cwm app would backup to these days. Is it internal or external? Things used to be so much easier but so much less fun.

Is anyone else getting a force close on the Maxthon Mobile Browser?
 
I'm on void so there is not even an init.d folder in the first place. It removes it in it's installation script.
 
Check is always late announcing this stuff on his Facebook page. Only just popped up in my news feed.
 
Utah was just kind of curious what that zipalign folder was as it want there when running rhett same kernel on 3.1.1
