"Quiet" is a relative term, I guess. Just a statistical note, though: we hit 58k at 10:30 this morning and now we're about to blow through 59k. That's about 11-12 hours. Not bad for a quiet day! :)

Gnex related, however, I think we're in for a pretty slow weekend of little to no news. So it'll be interesting how we stay on topic with speculation and relevant conversation while still hitting 60k.

Fear not, dear Gnexers, we'll manage to do it!
 
I'm sure this has been asked before... Do the third party resellers get the phones on launch day? Our store ( only one ) used to be a corporate store, but now they are a reseller. :(

There wasn't one for the Rezound either as far as I know. Works for me. Just give us a definite release date

I'm okay with no pre-sale, but I'm not okay with Verizon not mentioning anything about the sale at all. :) If they are really releasing it this coming week, you would think they would have some commercials. The reason - look how overadvertised the Razr and ReZound were. I mean, they really dropped commercials left and right. They still do.

I'd just like to see something this Sunday during the NFL games. If not, Monday would have to be some type of mention that it's going on sale. If they do not then i do not believe that it will be sold this week.

I'm loving all the good news, but I'll take it all with a grain of salt until I actually hear something. :)
 
remember when we would see something so small such as a person sneezing like 5 times then rubbing there nose 3 times and ppl took this as a clue as when the thunderbolt went out? man that was funny as hell lol

I don't know your situation .... but this goes for anyone. If you are a veteran, former veteran, or a family member of a military veteran (brother, sister, son, daughter, father, mother, etc...) you can become a member of Veteran Advantage. The membership (I pay $30 a year) is less than "Sams Club" or Costco, and with that membership you receive 15% off of your Verizon voice plan, and 15% off of the data plan. Plus you get 25% off of all accessories. I have it and in two months I've covered the cost of the membership.

I'm not their spokesman - nor do I play one on TV. But I do like to save money, and the less I give to Verizon the happier I feel, and when you are cruising the net at 4G speeds that extra savings could bump your data plan to the next tier for about the same price you currently pay.
 
This thread is a double edged sword. While I want to have the latest information and would prefer to know whats going on rather than being in the dark, checking it all the time makes the wait feel that much longer. If i just thought about this damn phone less the wait until the 8th would be much more bearable.
