Root RCMIX 1.3 with sense 3.5

how do u delete the old roms you have flashed previous guys

The backups from the SD Card or the ROM itself?

Backups can be deleted with ROM manager or Astro. Make sure you keep at least one good backup though. Alternatively move them to your PC.

If you mean the ROM itself, clockwork lets you wipe the phone partitions before you install your new ROM.

Fancy trying RcMIX?

yeah, so wots the rcmix like jus watched the video and looks very good,

It's not as speedy as CM7 but I like it so far. Of all the Sense ROMs I've tried, this feels the best. I was expecting to have it on for a few hours then restore the CM7 backup but I'll probably keep this for a while.

It's definitely worth trying. :)

im confused as to which link to download. sorry if seems stupid

scrap that, dam man flu, lol, i found it

what ae the main differences between sense 3.0 roms and 3.5 ??

Not sure what the difference is graphically, but under the hood, Sense 3.5 ROMs are meant to optimised so they work better on Single Core handsets.

It's not stupid at all, they make you go through hoops to actually find the download. The link you want is here: [ROM][Nov 14-2011]RCMix3d Runny v4.0 [Official runnymede sense 3.5 Android 2.3.5][OC]

The actual download itself is about 3/4 of the way down the post. It's circa 370MB I think.

I really like this rom. Tried CM7 and rather liked it but I guess I just like the Sence roms.

EL are you using the kernel that came with this rom?

I went for Lord Clockans Sense kernel: xda-developers - View Single Post - [OCT23]DeSenseNG 4.6.1|LorDmodNCTeam Kernel 4.0|SuperCharged|UltraSmooth|Sense3|2.3.5

And Killersloths UV script (although I found out today it doesn't actually undervolt, it just tweaks CPU settings): [SCRIPT][AOSP/SENSE][UV+LMK]Most Kernels|Greatly Improve Battery Life & Performance - xda-developers

I quite like it so far, Sense 3.5 is nice (to the point that I don't feel the need for an alternative launcher) and is not as bloated as I remember Sense being. Battery seems to be holding up quite well too.

Thank you EL (always a great help)
I'll give that kernel a go, as I find the stock RCmix kernel a little heavy on the battery, so I'll see if Lord Clockans kernel is any better.

(I'm slowly understanding how these things all play together!!)

All very convincing on trying sense out again... I do love CM7 though!

The stock kernel is overclocked so that might be why. If you don't want to try another kernel, you can remove the overclocking within the ROM by heading to Settings -> RCMix3D Tweaks -> System -> Enable/Disable Commands -> Remove O/C Daemon.

It does all fall into place eventually :)

As do I, but I just fancied something new. No harm in giving it a whirl especially if you have a backup to restore if you don't like it.

Sorry for sounding dumb!!

Should I use CFS or BFS from LorDmodNCTeam Kernels?

Which scrip from Killersloths UV script do I download?

Do you mean CFS vs BFS? I'd start with CFS for now, it's more stable.
