No it's a single log in for vzw branded apps for those of us who use some. Like I use the My verizon app to track usage for my mother in law and I love NFL mobile. So it allows me to use those apps

I remember hearing stories from my friends in Finland, YEARS ago, about being able to pay for things in vending machines with their cell phones, and have it go right to their bill. They laughed at our phones, when they came to visit in 2001... Before phones got really smart, and when Nokia ruled the cell phone industry, I think Finland tended to lead with innovations.

Never heard of paying for things in vending machines, but Nokia is a Finnish company so it is possible.

Here AGAIN is my rationale for counting days:

We currently have 4 days to wait: Sunday (today), Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We BUY our Nexi Thursday, so that doesn't count. Once we hit 9 AM today and stores open, we'll be down to 3 days and 24 hours to wait. And on and on. So Han can count 5 if he wants, IF he wants to count the day we pick it up. I'm just the eternal optimist in the group :)

Does anyone know what is happening with Verizon's unlimited data plan in March? I have unlimited now, but am considering signing up for double data while I can, if the unlimited data ends in March.


Anyone with a crystal ball and/or advice?
 
I stayed up all night for some reason, it was lonely around here for a bit. :P

Well, it's off to work. Hope to come back to some more epic posts.

Your unlimited plan will go at least until the end of your contract date. It remains to be seen whether Verizon will end the unlimited and when. But even if/when they do end it, only new signups after that date will be affected - the rest will enjoy the unlimited at least until the end of their contracts.

You should stay put on your unlimited data.

And, it's my understanding the the double data is available only for new lines buying a new phone. Not sure, though...
 
Good morning, BB glad you loved it, which shoes did you go with? I know I have a problem now because I showed my wife your choices and she asked which ones you chose (by the way she said depends how good of a night you want to have, I'm on my way to payless thanks) .

What is your source for this news? I have been told that, once on unlimited, you're always on unlimited. Period.

Besides, Verizon can't change the terms of the contract on the fly like that. If, after my next contract is up, they decide to put us all on tiered? I'll save up, buy full retail and stay month-to-month on unlimited forever.

this is the same way i count days, and have argues it with my wife over the years and she still says im crazy

the rational is quite simple.... chief doesnt count launch day because when its here,its here. you dont have to wait through that day like you would if it were launching the following day. also, after a reasonable time today, say 6pm, today will no longer be counted in the countdown either as the waiting through today will effectively be far more over than there is left.

There was a link to an article on this forum a week or so ago that said Verizon would stop grandfathering unlimited data in March, 2012. I don't know what that means, so I apologize if I assumed the worst.
