Root [ROM] PunkROM - [OP] Updated 9/25 2:45am EST

I might have messed up with the frequent updates to this ROM while i was still working on it; although due to unforeseen complications (HDD crash) i have stopped supporting this ROM as of its last update until i get a chance to set up a new linux box. Sorry, when gingerbread (CM7) came out there was no reason to keep using this.

those roms are slowing down... nows your chance! :D thats why i havent put anything out either lol

yeah, maybe ill get the ol' ubuntu box updated and ready for ROM work......:D

cool! :p im currently trying to get my friends brother to sell me his laptop. right now i need a portable computer, and the other desktop i own will barely run ubuntu. and i dont feel like dual-booting my good pc. then i will be doin the same lol

Thanks for your work regardless. I use your rom because at least with froyo, everything is functional. I dont have to worry about whether the wifi is going to break when bluetooth is on or some other random thing when a change is committed.

I ended up going with android assistant to kill the sounds, and it worked well enough. I'm currently using my llama profiles from my optimus to help with battery, and untouched, I am seeing about 2-3% loss per hour. That is with wifi enabled, pushmail (gmail) and auto screen brightness.

When I use it actively, I can lose as much as 1% per minute though. I have underclocked to 768 and don't know what to use for the io scheduler.

I basically would just like to extend the battery while keeping the operation of the phone smooth.

Maybe when cm7 is completely functional (it isn't usable to me when it has the known issues) or miui, then I will switch. I did this same thing with my optimus v, and I could get 48 hours of medium usage out of it.

I would love further support for this! :)

I have been using Cyanogenmod 7 since the first Beta release by Tickerguy.
Although I am LOVING the ROM, the issues with wifi, bluetooth, and the two of them together causing so much problems is starting to bother me.

With CM7 I can't leave wifi on while the phone is idle because it won't go into deep sleep. This ROM is one I may possibly consider switching too.

A few questions:
1. Can you undervolt and if so, below 800mv?
2. Is there a pull down power toggle in the status bar like in Gingerbread?

Those are the only two things I REALLY like from Cm7, but I am really missing the stability that Froyo has on the Triumph.. at least until a FULL source code is released to allow for a properly functioning wifi and hdmi.

THANKS!!

I know that this ROM has HDMI support and I'm pretty sure all the other froyo ROMS have HDMI support but i believe that you loose this when you move to a gingerbread (2.3) or a ICS (4.0) ROM. As for tethering most gingerbread ROMs have this built in. and i believe one of the Froyo Roms has it as well.

:) so I tried the rom (deodex then flash again) is good but I seem to have an issue there are no google apps.... so i download them from goo inside me ad install tem inn cwm recovery but i reboot and they are not there?!? so i redeodex then try to reflash the rom and google apps... again i get no apps. This is odd. I was wondering which 2.2 rom had the android mobile ap?

the rom looks sweet by the way
