Root Bionic Roms

Thanks dfib for putting this together! Big help for me and hopefully for others.

If there is enough interest, maybe it can become a sticky for easy locating?

Thanks again, Dennis

Now that's I've rooted and on .893 (about time) I'm getting excited about potential ROMs, and I'd like to go to one thread (this one) to know the ROMs out there...and maybe if it's not too much to ask for, a basic discussion about the ROMs differences, pros, cons, etc.

Thanks again dfib!

Ok Bionic Newb here.
I have ALOT of experience with the LG Ally and know that Velocity and Frunisher is the best overall Roms that have been made for that phone. And yes some of that is subjsect to oppinion. LOL

So what are the Best Roms for this bad boy?
DO we have CM7 or CM9
Is ICS an available ROM?
Now I know that ICS ROM prolly does not exist but hey I wont know If I dont ask. LOL

Thanks a million Guys.
You guys are almost making this too easy.

p.s. are the OTA's baked into some of these Roms?:D

I think that the theory rom's are the best . It gives you multiple options from the same base.
There is no cm7 or cm9 yet.
ICS is available in beta form but not everything works yet. I will post a link when I can.

My previous phone was an Ally, so rooting and flashing velocity was almost necessary. The reasons i had for rooting the Ally don't apply to the Bionic, so is there any reason right now to root and flash a rom outside of ridding of bloatware and making the phone look nice? I can't imagine needing to OC this thing, so the only real benefit I can think of is tethering and I only tether occasionally when I'm at school. ICS theme is tempting though.

OF COURSE minutes after posting this my internet at home craps out. If this happens a lot over break I may have to root.

Decided to go for it and now I'm running kinetix and I'm just curious, are there descriptions of "th3ory tpax" or "univ3rsal mods"? I'll probably end up trying most of them out but I'd like to see a brief description.

There are picture of each tpax in op at rootzwiki(link in the op). Besides full blurr add on and PUR3 they are the same but the colors are changed. The full blur add on is just like stock with some tweaks, PUR3 is gingerbread with no motorola or verizon software included.

Under kinetix it says not to flash pure if you already flashed blur....can you go the other way around? I test drove the rom and decided to keep it, now i wanna make it look sexy, so I'm gonna flash the add ons and pax and whatnot.
