I just don't recommend the Anti-Glare/Privacy ones. I had one on my Xoom and it deteriorated the image quality on it. I now have a crystal clear on and its a night and day difference.

That was filmed on the South side - in Chicago Heights/Richton Park, I believe.

To his question - I went to college at DePaul. We probably know some of the same hangouts!
 
I just played with the NEXUE at a VW store.
Wow this is one cool phone, comparing with my Charge it is not much bigger and it fits into the holster that I have.
My sale guy got an email saying that it will be released 12/09 and I will pick it up about 8:30 Friday morning :)

I called there earlier and was told to make an appointment, use the website, then he hung up on me. I tried the site, couldn't figure it out so called again. Got another guy who was nicer but didn't tell me anything. I asked about making an appointment and was told he had to check then would call me back. I'm still waiting. I'm going to try another store.
 
I was wrong you guys were definitely right, I'm sorry for being a pessimist. Finally gave in and checked at my store. Turns out my rep had lost my number so he couldn't text me to tell me it was in. Played with the demo. Incredible. That's all I can say. Well worth the wait, picking her up Friday.

It's a heavy burden to bear...having to tell your Verizon location when they will launch the Nexus. But, somebody has got to do it. I salute you!:)
 
I'm starting to doubt that my local Authorized Retailer (The Cellular Connection) will actually have the phone. I know all stores are supposed to have it on 12/9, but I called them and they said 12/13?! Also, they haven't had any accessories in stock. If I do choose to stop by a store after school, I'm gonna ask my parents to take me to the corporate store a few minutes away so I can see if I can get my hands on a Nexus (even though the lady on the phone said they didn't have the phone either... but it sounded more like the confidentiality thing than the lack of information).

Oh BTW: a little clarification... when I said I didn't miss you, I didn't mean to imply that you were insignificant. I implied that, in the fast pace of the thread and the propensity I have for missing posts, I didn't miss yours.

yeah no competition here... I acually have literally like 10 verizon's all within a couple miles of me so I would be shocked if I had a problem finding a Gnex Friday!
 
I remember for original droid the NYC 34th street location had a last minute midnight launch. I wonder if there is any chance of this happening again.

I'm in Youngstown...there are 7 VZW retailers in Boardman so I plan on waltzing into one of them around noon to ditch this razr and pick up the gnex no problem. I wouldn't expect any shortages, but you may get stuck in that God awful traffic on 76. People in Akron can't drive lol

The two corporate stores I've tried claim to have no information and encourage me to keep calling back each day, and direct to me to sign up for e-mail notifications. It's like no one in this city got them memo that we all know.
