I think I know what happened... Some one put the phone in the [ hide ] tags and so now verizon can't find it so had to push the phone back










Just trying to lighten the mood a bit and since the choice of words I would like to use to discribe my displeasure would result in a warning or worse, I opted for a joke

Still not happy and almost ready to give up on the device

That would be normal VZW behavior. Kinda like only Thursday releases are normal VZW behavior. And like I said, my theory if no D4 tomorrow is that there will be no Nexus on Friday. This is all pulled from thin air to add new speculation more than any other reasoning.



No, but how many people are pressing sources and talking to CSR's and generally hassling VZW sorts to leak D4 info??

I just called MY Radio Shack [wink] and they said it's on for Friday, come on in. I asked if they were sure, citing this launch chaos and the guy said he's aware of it, but they have not been told to stand down.

I lost my 4g at around 3pm today. I have been checking on and off and just got it back now. Maybe it will start correcting soon. Doubt this is the problem for the nexus delay, if there even is one. At this point, I'm so confused that I don't know what to think. I just want it to end, but it will only end when i can walk out of a store with it.

Figures right after I type this, I lose all data 4g/3g/1x. Can't get a thing on it now. Resetting to see if that fixes it.

Edit: Nope, nothing. Great.........

That's my plan as well! It seems I'm gonna have to pass on the TCC, though, because they're pretty certain it's not coming Friday and they haven't received any shipments regarding it yet.

Corporate store it is! They said they didn't have it over the phone but I insist that they have it.

It would be kinda funny (maybe interesting is the better word) if Verizon screws this up to the point where various retailers actually release the phone on Friday (and corp stores do not) because they never actually receive anything telling them not to.

The retailers would be very busy Friday. Verizon, not so much...

It is apparent they are doing upgrades/fixes to the data system hence the rolling outages. If this was not purposeful they would have stopped the process yesterday.
