If I rock my OG droid back and forth, it looks like I am rocking my phone back and forth. The camera stabilization looks terrible in that video.

Hahaha I just closed the window! He was ranting about how selling phone's feeds his kids and how people asking about the Galaxy Nexus heckle him and accuse him of "holding out" on him! Lmao this guy was awesome!
 
So close to buying the international version at full retail and switching over to ATT or Tmobile. I'd make up the $400 more I'd spend paying cheaper monthly service.. even though that means I'll have pretty bad service.

brandon: Yes i have but im not really interested in a phone that has an OS integrated with a manufactured interface. I own the HTC Incredible right now and find it to be a painful experience

Josh B: The Nexus is made by samsung so will still have an interface.
brandon: nexus is set to run adnroid OS 4.0 with no integration from touchwiz

brandon: i have found in my area that AT&T's coverage is pretty much identical and both your network and theirs lacks 4g support in my area, so coverage is less of a concern to me at this point, where as a new phone is a priority with the battery failing on my Dinc

Don't ask when or where, just ask if they are going to carry the device.

And do you really expect to get an answer to those questions? Let me get this strait, you expect a CSR to answer questions like that, when they don't even get any device launch dates until Verizon corporate announces them (aka, same time as us).

Verizon CSRs are kept in the dark and trained to only answer questions certain ways. We expect that since they work for Verizon, they have some sort of inside connection. Wrong.....big wrong.

There are several CSRs who are enthusiasts like ourselves. Those are the cool ones, but also the dangerous ones because they read the rumors, same as us, and then pass some of them on. Now it looks like it came from offical Verizon, which is not the case.

The only thing that will make this official is a Verizon announcement. As for them canning the phone, not going to happen.

If the phone's model # is shown as SCH i515, maybe. Just know that it might take a bit of a hurdle to get the right settings on it to work on VZW, just like the 'service programming on the Motorola Droid" thread at HoFo was for the Motorola A855 to get it on Cricket and Metro, etc.

I just don't know if we will have the same 'hardcore' software for a Samsung phone like we do for a Motorola phone.
 
Sorry if this was answered before, but how do you guys live chat with the CSRs? I've been on Verizon Wireless site for hours but nothing popped up :(
 
went to my local verizon store on my way home from work (irvine spectrum in socal). asked about the nexus and they said they have it in a safe but can't sell it until they get further notice. They said it was suppose to go on sale tomorrow but got delayed without any explanation. The VZW employee had no idea when they can begin to sell them but they said its looking more like next week. My name got put on the list and he said not to worry because they have 50 units in stock.

I dont expect to get answers, but since Verizon is making me suffer, i feel like it's a fair exchange to annoy their employees so they can make a little noise for us.
 
OK, the earp has some more dribble.

With the drama on twitter last night and then here today, I am not going to ask my bud who's 'source' works for Samsung, so now I speculate.

Those of you who have appointments to get your phone tomorrow, let us know. That includes those of you getting them from Costco. There might be a tiny bit of truth there.

As for those that say they can buy from Best Buy on 12/11, well there were those 'leaks' posted about Best Buy being able to sell on 12/11 and that still falls into the "week of 12/12" that I have been posting.

However, I might back off from my earlier "you will all have the i515 in your hands by 12/15" affirmation, as who knows at this point? More will be revealed . . . . when y'all have it in your hands, lol.

And on my note, what do I care? I can't afford to get this darned thing until next year anyways, so I have no ulterior motive at all.

so I had an email from verizon sitting in my inbox tonight, it was asking me to do a survey, muahahahahahahahahah. Twas my response after giving a 0 out of 10 on the scale:

I chose this rating because of the horrible way Verizon has managed the release of the Galaxy Nexus. Complete silence on the release of the most anticipated Android phone is not the way to go. If it wasn't for the rock solid network, I'd jump to another carrier but I'm in love with your 4G....for now
