I tried to get the model number off their site but couldn't find it. But given that they advertise it as a global phone, and these specs, there's no way it's gonna work on VZW. Here are the specs:

I work as a Customer Service Rep for Verizon. Please, stop and listen to this man. We have no more information that what you guys do. I'm just a tech nerd like the rest of you. I spend my breaks and my evenings in this thread, trying to find out information just like the rest of you.
The volatile conversations really need to stop. The people you are talking to would love nothing more than to help you, seriously. The CSRs don't make commission for selling phones and upgrades, but they do make us look better in front of our supervisors, and who doesn't want that? What I'm trying to say is if we could sell you the phone, WE WOULD! It benefits us as much as it does you!
Lastly, PLEASE do not give bad ratings to representatives like the man on the previous page that laughed about giving a "0". The surveys that are sent out/called out after an encounter with a CSR are literally what we are graded by. It effects our pay. Significantly. You giving a 0 on a survey out of some misguided spite over a release date that was never announced didn't hurt Verizon as a company, but it did adversely effect the REGULAR PERSON you were talking to. It is highly likely that you just chipped off some money off their salary.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go back to lurking so I can find out more information about when this phone is coming out. Keep digging! I want that phone!

I just called tech support and the rep said an unlocked nexus will work for Verizon 3g but not lte.
That's what I meant. Maybe I worded it wrong. I was trying to say if a 4g device is coming out tomorrow but the nexus isn't, we can no longer say the delay is due to the recent 4g outage or the xyboard would also be delayed![]()
Seems that my CSR isn't the only one that can't spell.![]()

This is actually a nice little segway since I was just about to address this as a general comment.
Previously, there was a time in this thread where people started posting thier chat logs with Verizon. It seemed that became a one-ups-man thing, and people started to out do each other, each time getting more and more harrassing to the CSRs.
It went south, real quick, and the mods handed out some infractions, and there was a cease and desist for ALL verizon chat logs. That was later modified that you could post up a chat, as long as you were polite to the CSRs and didn't hound them for information they don't have.
I'm starting to see this heading the wrong direction again.
Put quite simply, be polite. But the harsh reality is they don't know anything. You have every right to do what you want in your personal life, but that doesn't mean you should post it here.
