Just left Radio Shack. I got to hold my GNX. Phone feels amazing! Can't wait to go pick it up! He said that's the only one they have and he'd let me know as soon as he does when I can come get it! Light at the end of the tunnel!

Wow, that's really surprising - the graphics look so good! I think I'll have to at least try it out. I haven't heard anyone else say that it was terrible, though.

Sadly, the $15 a month was worth it. Ended up saving me about 100 bucks a month on new console games.

As far as 13 goes, the graphics are great, but the characters and the story are so 2 dimensional that it didn't keep my interest at all. I logged about 12 hours and stopped playing.
 
looks like my Logitech Revue is joining VZ in getting my hopes up for no reason. i just got a notification that an official update to 3.1 was available (FINALLY!!), hit accept, Revue rebooted, then said "update not available at this time."

I think my apple fanboy boss wants this phone out as much , if not more, than I do. He is tired of seeing me on my phone or iPad all the time
 
Just a thought about the reports that people are getting about 12/11... Does anyone else think that the store clerks may be mistaking the week of 12/11 (which would include the rumored 12/15) as releasing ON 12/11? Not trying to discredit anyone but just being a realist.

I lasted until my Blizzard employee guildmate got me into the WotLC alpha. The timing happened to coincide with my unemployment running out from my prior layoff :)

Back on track now though, thankfully.
 
Geez, there seems to be nothing but off topic video game, computer, and car talk in here... weeding through it to find ANYTHING ON TOPIC is becoming quite a pain.

Is anyone talking on this Nexus topic about the Nexus and what's going on today, or is it time to find some other source for my Nexus info and news?

I love colored gemstones much more than diamonds too. When we eloped I chose aquamarine (also my birthstone) for my "honeymoon ring" in lieu of an engagement ring, and and I picked it out myself.

My old boss used to be the opposite of this. I used to work in Marketing in the city, so of course I always had to work on social networking sites or phone. If I wasn't doing research on the computer or phone, he'd yell and ask why I wasn't working.

Hey guys! Just left Radio Shack where the manager was nice enough to let me hold my Nexus! It feels really nice. Solid build yet very light. Thin but not as awkwardly thin as the Razr. He said he would give me a call as soon as he heard when he could let me come pick it up. Told me not to worry and it was all mine. Said he would make sure nobody else got it. There is light at the end of the tunnel! I'm all excited again!

I started playing both of them...but honestly I thought the stories paled in comparison to 7. I don't know what it is, but 7 was just my Cinderella shoe.

9 seemed too...kiddy right off. And for 10, it seemed like they tried WAY too hard to make it like 7.

Don't even get me started on the s&*t that 8 was...
 
Just called a few stores in my area. The guy at best buy said that they'd definitely have them on the 11th and that they'd be getting 20 of them in. Now I'm on a waiting list with 12 other people. We'll see what happens...

Ugh, Wotlk was the worst x-pac. After BC, WoW started getting to easy. But yes, it was still very addictive.

Cool story- we sold the 91 Z to a guy down in SC, he already had a 92 300ZX Slicktop and this was his 2nd. He then bought 2 more- 91 & 93 Twin Turbos. He had sold his 1st slicktop then his 93 TT. All he had left were his 91 Z's. I saw that he had posted the TT for sale and knew I had to buy it and so I did; kind of wish it was my dad's old car, but hey, t-tops and boost is a little better than neither ;)
