I firmly believe that anyone saying there's a hold up due to Google Wallet vs. ISIS is just playing off of the recent media attention. There's no way it's holding up the phone, as Google Wallet isn't even on the GSM version, so why would Google push it on the CDMA/LTE version?

Maybe Google Wallet isn't on the European GSM version because Google Wallet is only available in the US. I'm sure Google being a US company really wants to have Google Wallet on it's flagship Nexus device here in the US.

Couple of questions on the phandroid app. When I refresh, it goes to the top of the posts and I have to scroll all the way down. Is there a setting for that to go to the bottom?

The second one is a bit more annoying. When I switch apps or back to the home screen, when I go back to the phandroid app and have to click back through to my favorites, the the nexus forum, and finally long press to go to the latest post. Why doesn't the app remember where you were? It's a pain to context switch since I have to go through all that and I wind up on the last post, even if I was a page or two behind when I left the app. Thoughts?

The refresh sucks. The app remembers where I am if I leave and come back though. I don't know why it wouldn't for you.

Well, it does remember where I was if for example I click a messaging notification and I go directly from this app to handcent. I can hit the return/back button and get back where I was. But if I hit the home button, long pressing home to get back to this app takes me to the beginning and I have to start all over.

I was out doing some holiday shopping with my wife, wandered into an ATT store for the hell of it. Man oh man do I wish VZW had ATT's selection. Their roster of Android phones is awesome. Also, I gotta tell you, if you're at all interested in Windows (I am) then the HTC Titan is a must. It is one of the most gorgeous phones I've ever seen or held.

If the Nexus gets nixed, or delayed further, that Titan...wow is that one hard to resist.

Yeah, it's in my favorites and I just found the default forums tab option so that helps. But it still loses WHERE I was in the thread

I called 611 and the guy I talked to was less than useless. All he kept telling me was that there was no info available on the nexus and that he couldn't do anything for my upgrade date til the phone was released.

That's basically what I said. Try it when the phone is released and it should not be a problem. Worst case scenario, you have to wait until New Years to get it. If so, activate it at midnight and start the New Year off with a new device. If your phone is dying or dead now, explain the situation to them and they will find something to tide you over. Had an Eris that had a camera issue and talked to the rep via 611. They pushed upgrade up a month and I had a DX two days later.

easiest way i found to get directly to this thread quickly was put it under the subscribed tab

I was at the mall today and the Verizon kiosk had giant signs up for the razr (of course) and for new LTE markets (including my hometown of Duluth) going live on December 15th. The rep I spoke to at the Verizon store said there were about 20 new markets going live on that date. It seems to me the 15th might have been chosen so they have a flagship phone to push in new markets.

Let me go through my day for you all, not much to get out of it but it's an interesting story:

Last night I had a dream about the Nexus, a very bizarre one in fact. I dreamt that the box (which was square) had a Droid-esque gray-ish design, a la the DInc. Upon opening it I found the Nexus sitting in the red tray, and I didn't remember to check what was underneath in my dream So I power on the device and I notice a strange red rectangular button appear in place of the back button, for no particular reason. Pressing it did nothing. Then my dream ended... O____O

Later in the day, I went with my dad to Costco for general shopping but figured I'd stop by the Wireless kiosk. The two reps there had nothing to show me and nothing to tell me except that it was probably coming the 15th or 16th. I asked them about the possibility of renting a Razr and they said "no, it would cost like $1000"... smh
Also, I snapped this pic of a product in the hair treatment aisle (sorry for rotated pic):

That's not the Nexus I'm looking for!!!

Then, I went to Best Buy and asked the guy there about the Nexus; he had no demo units or anything but he said it's probably coming next week (obviously). I asked about the possibility of renting a Razr for the week (my OG Droid is seriously dying on me now). He said "yeah we can technically do it but we really don't want to... just wait it out man, toughen up". He doesn't know what we've been through... >_>

So that's my day. Looks like there is absolutely no hope whatsoever of getting my hands on a Nexus before next Thursday. I seriously cannot wait any longer, especially with this OG Droid kicking the bucket on me
