I seem to be the only one who is in disbelief of the CH4GE or the or the only one voicing it. And the only one who reports that any and all Verizon representatives say it does not exist......... Am I Dreaming? :eek:

lol, no... I have a corporate account, and our job sites only allow cameraless phones. Being that I work in the office, I can have whatever I want while everyone else is on cameraless blackberries. I keep a stock of spare blackberries from ebay for everyone else, so upgrades are usually up for grabs.
 
forgot to mention earlier... and i dont think i have seen this mentioned, but when i got the 3g to 4g $100 discount added/noted on my account, the csr i was talking to did specifically mention that the $100 does not come off the price of the phone on purchase day, but will be on a verizon debit card to be received 4-6 weeks after purchase. used ch4ge
 
I'm beginning to understand why AT&T uses an automated computer to answer customer calls....it can never get any of the commands right and ends up hanging up on you.

One of the reps I spoke to read it out verbatim. It's a business to business promo which apparently means it's only for corporate accounts. It also waives any activation and contract fees (and notably stacks with NE2).

Since I was already lucky enough to sneak by a CSR and have them note it on my account that I was eligible I figured it would be a piece of cake to get my already upgraded Rezound credited.

I spent maybe 20 mins talking with the woman on the phone saying she saw the promotions but they were for people in the "Midwest". So I tried by saying well my main account was already eligible and noted.

She wants me to fax her the promotion I got in the mail showing how much. Since shes seeing two different promotions.

Well,yeah it would be. Plus, it's not like they can't prove otherwise. I wouldn't do it.

I doubt every date until Verizon puts the phone on their site. Until then, none of these dates matter one bit. One of these days I will be pleasantly surprised, but until then I don't expect to see the phone anytime soon. We are supposedly a little over 2 days out from one of the biggest Android releases the US has ever seen and we've not heard one thing from Verizon about it, forgive me if I'm a bit skeptical.
 
just used the "3g to 4g in the doorways system" advice...worked like a charm.
for those being told its not in your region, have faith and keep calling. I am in Richmond, Va and it worked for me.
