Hype won't come until 5pm eastern time. How do I know this? Because this is the time I pick up my kids from school, actually 3pm mountain time, and this is when all the sh*t goes down and I miss it until i get home a hour later. I expect the leaks to gush this afternoon at 5pm eastern time. At least I hope they gush!!:)

Ehh, I mean you're technically correct, but if there's one launch that Verizon has botched worse than this one, it's the Bionic. Not sure that's the best example.

EDIT: Yikes, 500 posts... I spend too much time on here. -_-

I did, but sorry I'm of no help. I have 6 phones on my plan and I'm using one of their upgrades. 3 of the people on the plan don't give a crap what phone they have so sometimes I'm able to use theirs to upgrade every couple months or so. Sometimes I call in and request multiple CSR supervisors and complain until they allow it. Ya gotta have confidence to do it, but it works if you try hard enough.
 
Well just got off the phone with CSR and after talking with a nice rep she told me the promo should automatically go through when upgrading to a 4g phone but I had her put a note on my account stating I called in wanting to use the promo. She said it ends 12/31. So we'll see.

I remember waiting for that phone...how foolish of me to have wasted my time. At least with the Bionic, there were reports of people actually being able to order earlier than the actual release date over telesales (I was able to do that).

He'd get some commission, which wouldn't be bad, but it's not a big benefit to the RS employee to let you do that. What you need to do, if you truly want it badly enough, is not only offer cash right now, but also offer to give him $100 on top. Give him incentive to do it. He knows he'll get the commission from it in 2 days when they sell out anyway, so it's not much of a reason for him to bend the rules.

At least your not stuck like me, shut down my Nexus One and switched my family to Verizon in anticipation for the Nexus.

That was a few weeks ago now and I have been stuck using a BB Bold. It is such a bad OS.

Anyone watched the ICS on the Razr vid?? I couldn't imagine actually using a phone like that. Granted, it's awesome progress already, but I'm sure it's only 10% functional.

I think i've just made an ultimatum for myself. If the Razr gets a fully functional ICS build with no bloat before the nexus, I'm jumping ship...

Hey everyone. First post! So I have been following this thread for a few days now and decided to not be shy and register :D .

Anyways, my original Droid's screen has been going ballistic the last 2 days, and once I unlock the screen it starts pressing so many random buttons, so it is rather annoying.

Long story short, I am PRAYING that the Nexus gets released Thursday because I basically don't have a phone at the moment. :(

Anyways, I'm glad I finally joined this forum :)
