Must-Have apps for the EVO 3D

I just downloaded Roam Control. This app works great. It forces roaming in my house where I get 1 bar. I get anywhere from 3 to full bars roaming. I can now use my phone normally while my Wi-Fi is down. Worth the $3.99.

The ICS keyboard is great too. I really like it. Its free and the dev updates it almost daily. Its still in beta I believe but I haven't had any issues with it at all.
 
Hey, just thought I'd let you know that there are several apps on the Market today (12/6) for only ten cents! Good ones, too, like Swiftkey X Keyboard, Asphalt 6, SketchBook Mobile, Paper Camera, SoundHound, Color & Draw for Kids, and others. Lol, I have "paid" for more apps today than I have in the last three years! ;)

Yep, Google is in the Christmas spirit. I bought Asphalt 6 (500+ Mb download :eek: ) and Endomondo Pro. Looking forward to see what else they do for 10 cents.
 
Sorry for the dumb question (well, maybe newbie question) but how can I find those apps for those prices? I'll keep checking...

Click on the market on your phone, and on the home page they should be there, if you check my post on the previous page I posted a screen shot there

Thanks for the help, but I think I'm really doing something wrong, probably simple. When I go to the market app, I don't see what you folks are seeing. However, when I choose "Apps" and scroll (for ever) I see a few of those listed highlighted in green—but that's after a lot of scrolling.

On the other hand, on my PC I see the promo fine. So when I then type in those app names, I see the full price listed. Hmmm....

I'll keep playing around with it. I can't complain about having fun with my Evo 3D, it's too much fun either way. (My new baby is 1 Week old today...ah, such a fun anniversary for my phone and me!)
 
Probably because you are on an older market app version

Looks like Amazon is applying the "monkey see monkey do" policy as most of the Android Market .10 apps are available for the same price (Amazon doesn't have all of them) So if something you wanted out of Android is back to full price you could find it in Amazon

If you ever have to use your phone to review pdf files for work or any reason for that matter, grab ezPDF Reader for ten cents while you can. It allows annotation and filling out of pdf forms. Excellent app!
 
OK, I realize I have been going a little crazy (all right, a lot ;)) about these ten cent apps but I have one more to tell you about. For those of you who want to improve your camera experience, Camera Zoom FX is ten cents. It has an option to turn off the shutter sound. It also has all kinds of settings to make your pictures better. Yes, I admit I play with this phone way too much ;)

For ten cents, this app was worth it just to disable the shutter sound without needing root. The rest of the app seems pretty good too.

I don't see it in the market. I am rooted and running the stock ROM from shooter I think. Is this what's wrong ?
