I have no lag on my rezound. Sometimes I think the store models just have crap on them that messes them up.
Definitely the Rezound. I switched from the RAZR to the Gnex and I can tell you, the RAZR looks, feels, and performs like a last-generation phone. I feel a little bad for the people who bought into its hype (although from sales reports, not too many did.)

Rezound wins hands down over the Razr. I tried both for a week.. radio on the razr ********.. worse than the Nexus. The rezounds was better than the nexus. I love my nexus but if I didn't I'd go with the rezound.
Locked bootloader and no permanent root yet are things to consider though if you're gonna switch to the rezound. Other than that the only downside is the thickness/design but it's not horrible.
I can't speak for the radio performance on 4G, but on 3G the Razr has the best reception I have ever seen on a cell phone. But I will probably get a Rezound anyways...720p is the way to go.
One thing I will point out I have discovered over the years is that I have seen 2 different (same model) phones get better or worse reception on wifi and 3G for no apparent reason. It may be little detailed differences attributed to the build, but no doubt I have seen it.
That would be a very bad idea......probably just needed to program your phone with *228 opt 2 i believe it is.
Sam, you ditching the Nexus?
I am leaning towards it. I'm finding out that hoping for an update to resolve reception is nothing more than a pipe dream.

The reception on the gnex is terrible. I had hope for a radio update, but I recently learned the gnex is using the same radio as the Charge. Users of the Charge attest to poor reception throughout the life of their phone.
I love everything about the phone besides its radio, which is a make or break issue. This phone is broken -- there's no two ways about it.
The question posed in the title is for everyone: hypothetically, or if you have returned the phone, which would you replace it with: the Rezound or Razr?
agreed again. i hated motoblurr on my bionic, and i've tried the camera on the razr too, which sucks equally as much as the bionic's.
the razr's screen is a disappointment for me as well. it's too dark, and too low of a pixel density.
moto released the razrmax phone in china at the same time, and will release it here soon too (first quarter 2012). the specs blow away the razr and will most likely leave razr customers feeling screwed like the bionic customers. does moto even have a PR dept?![]()
