I just rooted my wifes phone, all went through fine..Have s-off, amonra recovery. But once phone is booted, I cant access any "root" apps as it says no root access found...I have SU installed.
Any ideas?

launch and check your su app. sometimes it will deny root apps access. you can click on the app and manually allow access. also if there is no apps being shown then first try and wipe dalvik cache and cache. if that still does not work then try and uninstall su and reinstall it.
just to be sure you do have s-off correct? also you can try and flash a rom. i would recommend that you flash mikg3.0 to start out with. it is waaaaay better then stock.
lolYeah I definitely have s-off. I'll probably try flashing her a new rom tomorrow, she got sick of waiting around and took her phone with her into the other room.
Thanks for the help though!
