Root Flashing MikG v3.0 rom

Mac I believe automatically unzips downloads. You will need to rezip it then transfer it to your sdcard. If you are on Wifi, it might be easier to download it direct to your phone if you are unfamiliar with archiving files

Thanks ill try it i rezipped it and its called MikG-v3.zip and i just didn't download it on my phone because my internet is really slow.

It will tell you about changing recoveries to amon ra, a reliable recovery, and wiping well before flashing and flashing roms and kernels.

I'd give the stock kernel a try with that rom, works great on my phone.

edit: yep, actually appeared BEFORE I did...
 
so after i zipped the file and put it in my phone i tried to flash it but it says can't find update script

ya i went into recovery, backed up a nandroid, wiped the cache, dalvik, and data and i tried to flash and it aborted with that message, and i have zip on my phone its called PC36IMG.zip is that another rom because I've used a different rom before but i might not have deleted it.

yeah, should delete or rename that one,
 
i will just try to download it again tomorrow now that i changed the settings on my mac. ill just have to stick with my original rom for now.
 
Well I have a MBP but it doesnt automatically unzip my files unless i double click on it. I dont use safari though i use chrome.
 
Your options for kernels on MikG are:

1) Freedom (universal, not the synergy godmode or synergy nightly version)
- comes in aggressive, more, less and stock voltages
2) Chop Suey
3) Golden Monkey (severely outdated IMHO)
4) Anthrax (pulled from XDA)
5) Stock
