Root [ROM] Warm TwoPointThree - Release One [Sense3.5][1/12/2012] - Always Brilliant!

^ Same here. warm 2.2 was my first, still holds a special place in my heart. The awesome fonts, smoother animations and transitions.... but I digress ... Hopefully I'll be able to download this bad boy tomorrow ;)

Hope the lack of apps2sd doesn't impact it too much ... :?
 
That would be a fun thread...the first flash for everyone. Mine was the CM7 alpha build that had working wimax, might have even been CM6 for all I remember. Then I went to MikFroyo. Kings Ultra Froyo shortly thereafter.

I never really used Warm at all, just very briefly.
 
I almost started a thread like that when I went to tommytomatoes Classic, just made me start thinking of old school Sense LOL Warm 2.2 was first for me, King's and MikG's Froyo ROMs never ran stable at all on my phone for some reason, so I always went back Warm to 2.2. Just looking at the pics of the Warm 2.3 ROM makes me want to reflash his 2.2 RLS 5 LOL What font is that he uses?

I didn't know a2sd didn't work, is that a 3.5 issue or a Warm 2.3 issue?
 
Gonna flash this now. I've only been flashing for about 3-4 months now, but I have always heard Warm 2.2 was a classic ROM. Hopefully this one lives up to the hype. Having MikG 3.0 + AnthraX to fall back on though is pretty nice. :)

Does VVM work right off the bat with this ROM or does it involve flashing other APK's (as i saw in another thread regarding 3.5 ROMS)? I haven't been able to flash this yet, dang wife keeps texting me LOL

Curious to know how Anthrax kernel works on this ROM also

Myn did move on but full development will be with the 3D first and once everything is good, then ports to other devices will ensue. Similar to the Synergy situation

Hopefully, warm 2.3 is better than 2.2, never really liked 2.2:( But, I'll be flashing soon:)

Anthrax will work with any recent Sense GB rom but I'm guessing as with other 3.5 roms the data mount/unmount trick is a must to flash any kernel;)
 
For some reason my 3G speeds are abysmal right now. Not sure if it's this ROM or not, but i am only getting 254kbps down. My upload is actually better at 636kbps. Gonna flash back to MikG 3.0 and see if it's any better.

Edit - and this is with full bars on 3G. I am in Boston and I normally have around 1.5-2mbps down.

Double Edit - Back on MikG 3.0 and it's marginally better. Must be something going on with the coverage in my area.

And this is why I am going to stick with MikG, I really can't give up these speeds (4G).

Warm 2.2 RLS5 was my first rom flash, then quicly behind that was a tommytomatoe rosie mod. ;)

I don't know when I'll have time to flash this, but thanks for the first impressions folks!! :)
