Oh darn. I went and read the reviews, now it's ruined for me.. right above "awesome game" is "Fun, but the gauge needs to be higher or moved elsewhere. I'm right handed, so it gets blocked when aiming."
Low gauges that are blocked by the.. oh, wait, I'm left-handed, therefore all is well. zzzzzzz .. I mean this is great.

Eris has a very weak vibrate feature.
It had to be said.
but a good argument for silicone cases and screen protectors.

If you notice, the prices of ALL smartphones are going down. Remember when they used to be 400 bucks on contract? I read an article recently talking about this very thing. It has to be something of a superphone to be $200. I think the Droid is one of the last $200 non"super" smartphones.

What is really sad is that the people on Sprint still have to pay $149 for what is basically the same phone.

The Eris is pretty clearly not a flip phone?
And yeah, in my opinion, it's pretty disheartening that they're giving away the Eris now, after I got swindled into paying $99 for it. It takes away some of the flare of having a nice phone when you have a free nice phone.

A long time ago used to morn when the price of my phone declined. But after owning many many of the little buggers, I have become somewhat numb to the fact. I mean I remember paying 300 for a Moto Q on promo and, well we all know about those. There will always be a newer one but the Eris is a damned fine example of how good things are going to get.
