Double click the original zip file, inside will be a desc "notepad" file. copy it and open up the note pad on your computer and paste it and change320 480 to 480 845 then save it as "desc" and then drag it and drop it on the zip and it will replace the original

This is truly a piece of art. I only have 1 thing I have to complain about...
It's too small for my Droid x!!
What are the chances of getting a version that is 480 x 854?
I tried to resize it myself, but now I just get the black screen while it is supposed to run. Or is there something I can do that I missed when recreating the zip file with the resized images?
I beg of your help Masterchief. Pwease?
Im, new to the boards. I was trying to look for a LCARS boot screen for my Droid Incredible. What im wondering is, will this work on the incredible and how do you actually install it?
Chief, I got your LCAR's. It's gorgeous to watch but 2 things...
1: I need a For Dummies type walkthrough for the sound install. (rooted, PG build cm7)
2: I got choice 1, the combined run. So I still get the stock splash screen and the cm7 Tron Droid boot before the LCARS kicks in.
If I go get the seperate files how do I get the UFP onto the splash only?
Thanks
Easily done. Put it on the root of your sd and with your file manager rename it too bootanimation then move it to system>media and paste it over the current bootanimation.zip then take that audio mp3 file and put it on your sd rename it to android_audio and move it to system>media>audio>ui and paste it over the current android_audio then reboot and enjoy your new boot animation.
And you can change that Tron screen, but I cant help you there. AhahaAsk tokenpoke or I think Gmash or Nuttmeg know.
I realize this thrread has been inactive for a while but I am trying to install this on my Huawei m860 but am NOT technically savvy. Can someone help me with a step by step? I downloaded the bootanimation zip, now I just need to know how to get it to my phone and where and ect ect...I can be reached directly at
corkscrew7769@gmail.com and my name is Sean. Thanks to anyone who will give me a walkthrough
First I have to same great job on the boot animation but I was having some problems getting it to work I have half the animation that starts up but it cuts to my unlock screen half way through and second I still cannot get any sound I have tried just about everything everyone has posted but still no luck. My phone is a Huawei U8652 and its running GingerBread 2.3.4 so any help someone could give me would be great! Thanks!
Still no luck I searched and checked everything I could find I tried changing to audio from a mp3 to a OGG and still nothing so if you could help anymore I would really appreciate it, also any idea on how to keep it from cutting off before it is finish?

Gahhhhh Still nothing I think I need to just re flash it and start all over from the start, but I'm not sure how to do that either, I'm not to tech smart the last smart phone I had was the Q lol so that shows how far behind I am. Also if I reflash it will I lose everything and have to re-root and everything again? Or am I just missing it all togher and need to install CM7?
Yeah the boot animation is working it still cuts off half way through but at least it works just no sound, I went in and done a factory reset to see if that would work but still the same, one thing though I dont remember the factory boot having sound on it when it started up to begin with
