Help phone in endless loop after unrevoked3

hello all

followed unrevoked guide to the letter, everything ok up till the reboot for custom image (i think) but the phone keeps rebooting after reflash.exe crashed in windows, shows the o2 logo then reboots ad finitem

HBOOT specs are:
BRAVO PVT1 SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-0.93.0001
MICROP-031d
TOUCH PANEL-SYNWB101
RADIO-5.11.05.27

i have not made a goldcard :(

any help much appreciated

ps..i took out the battery/usb lead/sd card/sim card and it rebooted ok, loaded unrevoked again, it crashed again now the phone is just stuck on first boot logo, gonna take out battery, its booted ok after battery out, so it seems unrevoked doesnt work for my phone, guess its more reading time
 
YES sorry should have said, phone was originally 2.1 o2 branded which was updated to 2.2 ota

ps..it boots (into old rom) after battery removal
 
hmm actually sounds like an overheat issue and unrevoked is just making the cpu work.
do you get crashes when you use the browser while wifi is on?
 
no not in that scenario but google maps carshes after a couple of mins every time, resetting the phone

google maps makes the phone hot and if it crashes then it means your phone cannot handle the workload. you have a 2 year warranty. i would get this sent to htc asap.

its a common issue with the early pvt1 devices, htc is aware of the overheating problem

will contact htc in the week, thx for your feedback, im sure i still have the box somewhere
