Root Requesting a system dump

Biotic

Android Expert
after you guys manage to root this device which shouldnt be difficult at all. Could some one please post a system dump? Post your recovery image as well so devs can start working on a custom recovery. Actually post everything that you can pull from this device. Images, system, whatever.

If you need help doing it and would like to contribute, let us know.

System Dump:
I posted it on XDA, but then decided to post it here anyways.
Here it is:
LG Enlighten System Dump
Enjoy and this time its not a Torrent.

I could dump an Img of my OS for the LG Enlighten if you want that. Also if you can port Bionic zero to the LG Enlighten?

When trying to flash the recovery img from xda that you provided I get this dumb error:

fekvly.png

I tried chmod and that didn't work. Please help.

Are you rooted?
Yes, How do you think I dumped the /system folder and in the pic I did su and got the # indicating that I am rooted. Its a permission error from the looks of it. I am think of putting it in the root directory.

Also the phone has no stock recovery.

The test build of the recovery works perfectly. After all it was me and death that built and tested it. Only problem is an update came out and I can't apply it. It gives me 2.3.5. It always fails. So I'm. Waiting for yal to figure out what's up

Rgocal, I think you may remember me from another site. lol.... my stepdad has an Enlighten. I have /system folder access already via root explorer. I can delete files from system, but it won't let me add the su binary to the device in the /system/xbin--or /bin folder. Is it possible to "push" it via ADB to the phone? I did a similar process to root another phone. Let me know if you found the same. GB version 2.3.5 is running on the phone right now.

Hey bud, download the update and when it goes to apply, wait it off. Grab a root explorer and navigate to the root of your enlightens memory with a super user rights given file explorer and look for a cache partition and find where the update downloaded and copy it from your device to the sdcard. There should be patch files and a boot image and a new baseband img or radio img in that mix up. We should be able to make a custom update patcher for u or make a deoxidized rom for the update.
