If it doesnt is their any other rooting methods similiar to z4 that work for the lg esteem with the zvc update

ZVC is unrootable atm with any known method.

No rooting for zvc ATM. There hasn't been any update to root zvc as of now. You might want to downgrade to zvb to be rooted. Follow Gbiggie instruction to downgrade.
