Root [ROM][PORT][ALPHA] MIUIv4 ICS Port | Weekly Update: 2.6.1 | Version: 0.9.0

I was thinking that since init.rc or init.device.rc would be built into the ROM, the features(the different parts of code that was init.rc) in init.device.rc has to be somewhere in ROM, even separated into different parts. Everything that was in the source gets baked into the ROM, the question is just, where is init.rc now or where are the features implemented now. I've seen parts init.device.rc all through the ROM, I just don't know the where all of them are...
 
i feel ya lol its a pain i tried installing with my build and i got signal so i think the radio is working couldnt make a test call due to the force closing all the time but can i get a link to the .2.6 for the changes and do you think since this is miui isc that whyzorsor manteras toucch screen driviers would work?
 
I am already using his touchscreen drivers, in the kernel; still only semi-functional. Going to testing V0.3.2, right now.
 
nice work if this is half as good as Issac miui it will be my daily IV booted of you first release and love the look.... I like ics but don't like the apps status bar or seting.... thanks for your hard work look to.seeing the final
 
downloading it as i write im just wandeing what i did to my first build that gave me service? it gave me 3 bars im trying to back track and flash again
 
so it turns out that i wasnt getting anywhere with the signal because on your build you have signal bars to but it still doesnt mean you have service ill continue to fix and determined to get sevice going on miui 4.0 on the triumph!
 
Austrie are you going to release another build today? Not trying to be a pest OR ASK FOR ETA I was just wondering. There's no need for me to be a guinea pig if I don't know what I am doing.

Current in V0.2.8,

What WORKS:
GPS
Sound
Sensors
SD Card
Graphics
Bluetooth
LockScreen
Hardware Buttons
Semi-Functional Touchscreen
Soft Keys(Except Home Key)
Most Apps Included In ROM (Little Force Closes)

What doesn't work:
Radio
Camera
Everything That Is NOT Listed As Working

ok so i extracted the boot.img ramdisk and have all the init.rc files you were looking for so what now this is usauly where i get lost
 
Ya guys this rom is looking great miui with ics flavor is pretty amazing. Really flows nice. You guys are in for a treat once this get out. The only thing that's really annoying is touchscreen. But its workable. Thanks again austrie

He got it to stop force closing all the time to down to just once. I didn't have any other fc's while running 0.2.6. He has a newer one that hopefully I can test again for him. But like I said before its looking great. But still needs some work.
Also was thinking the same thing if the fix's for ics alpha would work for miui 4.0 , hopefully it is, it would certainly make it a bit easier
 
like others have said "ill flash this rom 8 times a day if u need me to" I love miui I think the apps and customizing is great...I don't know much on developing but will help any way I can..
