[Verizon] [BOOT ANIMATION] LightFlow HD by TheRoosevelt (1/11/12)

Haha I just came in here to finally get this boot animation but was thinking in my head, man I wish there was a blue version. Imagine my excitement when I saw the op was updated with a blue version! Awesome!

I really like that new animation make that in an ICS blue and I know what my favorite boot animation will be. Very nice!! Android green on both these boot animations would look sick also.

As of today, I'm over the stock animation (even the HD version). About to download the blue lightflow. Just wanted to say thanks for doing this :-)

The stock animation is very colorful and beautiful in all its HD glory. But this. This is truly elegant. If that is what you are looking for then you will love it. Especially the BLUE!

Here's a preview of another one I'm making...
Work in progress.

Can we get a shout when this is ready for prime time? Love the first ones you did. I too went with the blue.

Sorry, I should have been more clear in the first place.

When your boot animation is running most if the screen is black.

The small area around the animation is a light grey.

Its like there is a gif on top of the black acreen.

I am seeing this too. It looks like your animation graphics are 320x720. It almost appears as if your animations are on a very dark grey background, so that it stands out against the true black background of the rest of the screen.

Is there a reason that you didn't use 1280x720?

I'm puzzled that this is happening, since the background of the image should be true black as well. Does this occur with both the gold and blue versions?

I didn't make the images 1280x720 because 1) it would be mostly empty space and 2) at that size, the animation is really laggy. It shouldn't be necessary to make it that size, though, because the background should be true black. Unless I just have bad eyes (it's possible) I can't see a distinction between the black of the background and the black in the animation on my phone.

Anyone running the Blue Lightflow over AOKP M4?

Any issues.

Do I just flash it in CWM like normal?

Unless there's some voodoo magic at play that I'm not aware of, this should work with AOKP M4 and indeed any 4.0.2-3 (and maybe 4.0.4, who wants to test it??) ROM :p. Just flash it in CWM, yup.

I've only tested the blue. Testing the gold now.

The gold is even worse.

(sorry for the crappy pic but I only had a webcam handy)

I wonder if it could have anything to do with the install method? Seems odd but its all I can think of. I pulled the zip out and loaded it directly onto the phone. I find it much faster to do this way.

I... don't know what to tell you. That is really quite bad, and something I haven't seen with either version. All I can suggest is re-downloading and flashing the "proper" way in CWM.

Is anyone else seeing this?

My phone shows the blue lightflow beautifully on AOKP b27. I am still looking forward to the explosion one though. Blue or gold would be fine.
