Root [ROOT] For LG Esteem ZVC!!!

ive the drivers and debugging is checked .....hung on daemon started sucessfully???am i being ******ed?someone with more since then me please help...lol

holy sh*t PG if you only knew the week i had, lol i just went through hell and back for this phone and you are just a god with perfect timing!! lol

sorry but i feel like telling a story, so read if you like lol but its ironic in a way lol

basically i just finally decided to activate this phone get the 4g plan blah blah blah... so i did, buuuut all week i had no 4g, did all the trouble shooting in the world lol so in the end i couldn't get it working so i thought an update to zvc would solve this... but no luck :( so out of pure laziness i have yet to downgrade so i could root and continue work on the roms lol, so today i literally just got home from work, i walk in my door and for some reason i jus happened to look at my phone and see a little 4g in the statusbar!!! so my immediate reaction was OOO MYYY PlayfulGod!!! lol the funny part is it literally rebooted on me as soon as the lil 4g guy poped up lol

so then i come to my laptop thinking hell yeah im gonna downgrade right now, then i saw this and just fell in love with you ( and djrbliss ) lol so now i shall try this out with a big smile and look forward to the future haha

hey so whats up with the zvc root anyway? do we have a kernel yet or no?

is it possible to just flash a rom without a boot.img lol as if it were a theme? i like the stock kernel anyway... once the bloat is removed it works perfect for what i use the phone for.. :D

could i just pull the system, de-odex & theme it, replace some things with gse parts and flash it?

basically im just wondering if i should root zvc or still downgrade? lol

I wouldnt cross anything ZVB with ZVC esp the kernel/boot.img unless ya like bootloops. ;) Myself and prolly mt will release stock deodexed versions of ZVC for those who wish to start modding it. I myself wont do much with it, prolly the stock deodexed rom n maybe a kernel.

GSE 1.6 will still be ZVB based and prolly its last update as I am more concerned with other projects. ;)

still nothing ....root has eluded me....i dumped my epic 4g touch for metro ...i guess im just in a hurry to beast this phone out.anyone post a tutorial?....my I Q is dropping by the moment...:confused:

connect phone up via USB > install drivers. ;)

Then the install scripts (adb) should see your phone. ;)
