I don't know why but I have been deathly afraid to root... normally I am all about doing it.. what happens if you brick the phone? Just walk in to a mPCS and they exchange it on the spot or what?
i know this has to be simple...ive uninstalled reinstalled drivers debugging is checked...i hit run and it just stays on daemon started sucessfully..ive installed the drivers from the link above says drivers not installed when just plugging in the device......LOSTconnect phone up via USB > install drivers.
Then the install scripts (adb) should see your phone.

You won't brick it...I carry the extra $5 for insurance on it just in case(for other issues unrelated to rooting)
Besides anything happens one of us will get your esteem all set for return if need be

GingerFusion theme breaks the settings (tried opening Volume settings, got FC).
I guess themes have to be updated for ZVC... blows...

SUCESS!!!!!!!I just uninstalled everything and redownloaded everything and BAM ur rooted...loli need a v8...now that im rooted recommend a rom to flash or how to obtain clockwork mod????this forum is way more noob friendly than is the brown one.
Thanks for ur help...ive installed clockwork mod through rom manager and did a back up of current stock rom....suggestions for a ro to flash???im not sure which ones are zvc compatablePhone in "Internet Connection Mode"

From what I seen if the build dates on the apks n frameworks, they've not changed, so in theory themes 'should' be ok.

If for some reason you brick your phone either bootloop are completely won't power up at all, just bring it to Metro an just play stupid. They can't even tell if it is rooted anyways if it won't turn on.
