Root Looking for reliable wifi tether app

So I'm running into difficulties in finding a working wireless wifi tether app. I've tried Barnacle Wifi Tether, but keep running into the following error: "DHCP: Could not bind to DHCP port: Address already in use" (might have something to do with the wifi hotspot app that starts up in the background in unison with Barnacle, but not sure how to disable it). I have once before managed to restart my system and start Barnacle without that error, but then I get this error "wifi manager is interfering with barnacle".

I'm looking for a reliable non-USB tether for my DX. Anyone know of one?

personally i don't agree with wifi tethering either. However to be fair to the op the site rules have changed on this recently.

Thanks for the link. I tried it out (using Liberty 3) and when I start the tether it takes me Verizon's "Subscribe to Tethering" page.

The whole "paying to tether" is absolute rubbish! I have a wireless router with 13 clients on my home network, how is this any different. Anyway I use Wifitether, just remember to change the device profie. I have been tethering since I did it with a USB cable on my OG RAZR phone, I just view it as using the connection how I want, I never share it with others.
