I had already done it manually. but ive read only but good things about viper's 1 click. Make sure to unlock with their apk prior to running CWM install with this. OH BTW....

How to get into recovery?

Shut down, then hold Power and Volume Down. You'll get some text, then you'll have 5 seconds to press Volume Up to get into CWM. (it'll reboot recovery)

Ive also noticed, you can hit the power button as you normally would to turn it on, but then you'll JUST hold volume down, you'll see the text also, then you press volume up.

Make a backup asap. It'll give you a feeling of relief. ;)

Please read thread before moving forward. This will root your Prime and flash a recovery but your bootloader must be unlocked first;)

It is actually a 2 step process. First it will root add superuser, busybox and reboot. Then if you choose to unlock the bootloader you can continue but you need an internet connection first. It will unlock your tablet then and install clockwork mod.
 
I always need a little hand holding before I make the leap (have done it with Droid and Bionic).

If all I'm going for is root so I can use my adfree and tibu this looks really easy.

Download the .zip
Plug in your Transformer and make sure to install the drivers located in the included .zip (unless you can already adb into your device, then no need for drivers)
Kill Asus Sync and Splashtop! - very important!!
Make sure you have NO OTHER ANDROID DEVICES connected via USB!
Run the viperMOD PrimeTime.exe and choose an option.


How do I kill those apps? In settings--> manage apps?
