Help Desktop user agent on default browser?

I tried Dolphin browser out because I can't seem to find a way to force the default browser not to go to the mobile versions of websites.
(I find the settings/request desktop site to mostly do nothing at all)

On dolphin I can set the suer agent to desktop, and do exactly as I want. Cool.
But, I find on the forums (a big part of my browsing) that if I use dolphin and click on the last post, or last since I logged in, icon, Dolphin just loads the top of page.
But the default browser works properly, taking me right down to said last post.
So can I make default browser use desktop user agent?
Can't seem to find a setting for that.

I was in the same boat, can't stand mobile view and have always used desktop agent. I ended up going with ICS Browser+ and its been great. I've been using it since it first came out. Another big plus is that its a market app so I can back it up with Titanium and restore with confidence after rom flashes.

Try ICS + browser.
By the way, tapping those links work for me using Dolphin.

You are both using this OK on ICS on Nexus?
I read the first few pages of reviews on it and all the negative ones were seemingly Nexus users...
(EDIT: I realised you both are Nexus users. But still no issues?)

I prefer Dolphin, I installed ICS + browser just to try it out, but no, I didn't have any issues.
