After 1 year with (MULTIPLE!) Triumphs, I have decided to go with T-Mobile's $30 a month plan. This was a no brainer for me. Too many problems with the Triumph. $30 a month..100 min. talk, unlimited messaging & text, and unlimited DATA (up to 5GB before throttle down, VM is now 2.5GB!) All that PLUS 4G and GINGERBREAD! Yes, the screen is 3.7in. not 4..but...all the other features have out weighed just screen size.

Thanks for all the info I've gotten from you guys, and I'll keep checking in just to see more pissed off posts. :p LOL! Check the Samsung Exhibit II 4G forums, nobody pissed off. You folks might want to check out T-Mobile's plans.

I never understood the posts like these. Unless you have been an active part of the community (making ROMs/themes/etc or hanging out giving advice) and want others to know you won't be around anymore. Otherwise it doesn't make sense to me.

Maybe just a little bit of ranting because you don't like the phone? Rubbing it in because you think we are envious? The first is ok, but really there are better ways to let off steam. The second is pretty mean.

Maybe I am just missing something....
 
After reading the specs i still like my triumph better and virgin mobile has never let me down. Ive never had any problems with my triumph besides the samurai ii not downloading and i think thats a developer or market problem and not a phone issue. Virgin mobile also has a better plan to 300 mins and unlimited data and txt for 25$ a month. The 2.5 GB a month is fine for me i dont even go over 1 GB a month.

Dude! You hurt me man. I guess you did miss the point. I have been "hanging around" for about a year, Joined the forum 7 months ago, posted 56 times...that's about 8 posts a month..2 per week, have asked and answered questions in a polite way. This is a major problem with putting your thoughts in writing...some folks just take things the wrong way.

Yes, I'm fed up with the Triumph...but apparently so are a lot of other folks who have posted many times about the phones problems. Since I have been a "loyal" customer to VM for a year, I just wanted to share what I found, and maybe some of those people with problems would want to take a look at something new. That's why I posted the link.

About me posting to try and make YOU envious...one word... NARCISSIST... have that checked out. (NOW I'm breakin' your balls!)

WOW! I feel bad that you just don't get this. I upgraded to the MT from my Optimus V after the Triumph came out!! GET IT NOW!

It might be a good idea (I dunno' maybe It's just me) not to openly question someone's truthfulness. It really does sound like you're calling me a lier.

Ok. I get what you mean and I'm gonna try real hard not to come out as being harsh, but you don't have to be offended by everything someone says. I was just saying the MT hasn't been out for a year, because from what you said it sounded like you didn't know that. Now I don't mean to e harsh, but you can make the post a little more nice. I switched to T-Mo too, but I still have my MT even if it has problems not everyone can afford to switch to a different company. I mean maybe $200 is cheap to someone, but to someone else that would take a while to save up to get. Plus with T-Mo and their 4g it's only good if you are in a 4g area, their 2g is even slower than VMs 3g in my area... Now sorry if any of this comes off as offensive I don't mean it that way, just try to keep things calm.

You're the one that stated you went through multiple triumphs in one year, yet the triumph hasn't been out that long.

That's cool man! Some things are more important to some and not the other. I mainly use the Data, and was upset about the throttle down. I only us the phone to call the wife from the grocery store, so I won't forget anything :D or for short calls. I only use about 40-60 minutes a month.

OK, MY bad for not making myself perfectly clear. I have been with VM for a year. First with the Optimus V (only 1)...then went to the MT (had to have 2 replaced). So if there was any lag in time, or my memory, it was in between trying to get a Triumph that would work.
