[Verizon] [ROM] Codename Android 1.5.0 - Updated 3/5/12

Actually I think his logic was he is a dev who wishes to be compensated for his work. I can't blame him, he spent a good deal of time making what IMO is the best launcher option for ICS right now.

Your comment about buying LPP and it getting you nowhere now, Even if you used LPP for only 2 months you basically paid about 6

Is the last update to this Rom 2/15/12?

yep. i have been a loyal CNA user since day 1, and this is the longest we have gone without an update. if we don't get something soon, i am going to move to Liquid just for fun... and for that full screen mod!

I was thinking the same thing. Ran liquid back in the D1 days, and it was always great.

i ran a ton of roms on my D1 and Tbolt, but liquid ended up being my daily driver on both. CNA has been good to me, but that full-screen mod is calling my name, lol. i am hoping that liquid lives up to its reputation on the GNex as well. :D

Why not AOKP for full screen?

Why not AOKP for full screen?

AOKP is too in-your-face for me. i look at customizing roms the same way as i look at customizing cars. you can go over the top, and make every change immediately noticeable, but i prefer to modify within the original design, making people notice you changed something without realizing what. if you booted into CNA for the first time and didn't change anything, it would look almost exactly like stock ICS, yet it offers just as many mods if you want them. overall, CNA seems so much more "polished" to me than AOKP.

admittedly, i haven't run AOKP in awhile, so some of these things may have changed, but i haven't had reason to leave CNA until i decided i wanted to try out the full screen mod. since liquid has been good to me in the past and now has a final build out, i want to give it a shot. nothing against AOKP, it is a great rom with some truly excellent developers, but it just isn't my style.

What I love about AOKP is that it gives you OPTIONS. I don't think it's in your face at all, you can make it as stock as you want or as unstock as you want and find your happy medium. There are big things AOKP offers, and little things. I like it because A) it works, B) it's stable C) the developers are active, and D) it gives you options. This is a CNA thread so I won't continue the subject on AOKP any further, but just thought I'd throw in my two cents; switching from CNA myself. Both are GREAT ROMs. If you're someone who doesn't like to reflash ROMs every few days but likes features and stability I'd stick with CNA

being that A, B, D, and C (until the last 2 weeks) are true on CNA as well, it all comes down to the interface for me. in that aspect, i like CNA better, which is why i have come back to it every time i have experimented with AOKP. it is great that we have so many excellent roms for the GNex, allows everyone to find exactly what they are looking for.

updating the OP now.

Can't WAIT until I have time to backup and install 1.5.0! 1.4 has been an absolute nightmare. Slightly sluggish performance, reduced customizability, worse stability overall, sluggish and sometimes glitchy dialer with frequent complete hangs when T9 dialing, frequent random device reboots, sometimes in the middle of doing almost nothing ... It's been bad, bad, bad.

Either 1.4 was broken or my phone is broken (which is certainly possible!) I look forward to 1.5.
