Was just reading his tweets, and yes...that is a G1. Wouldn't have known that otherwise!
 
Anyone think they can come up with a more educated guess on the actual screen size? I looked up the G1's screen, and it is at 3.2 inches. That vertical pictures gives us a GREAT view. What do you guys think?

According to him/her, he/she said "3.7 AMOLED..same samsung screen as the desire and nexus one"
 
whats 2 more months extra waiting for may if i have already been waiting since september.. 7 months overdue for a new phone with my awful lg venus. shitballs.

I was reading the twitter responses, and I believe that was supposed to be a video that he/she couldn't post because it had a watermark, so instead he/she took a screenshot and blurred out the watermark.
 
man, I hope the incredible is not as thick as the g1. in some of those pics it looks close to the same thickness. I'm sure it's just the angle of the pic though.

It looks like the back cover has been removed in these photos. The usb port and the volume rocker are red probably to match the back cover since it probably wraps around the sides a bit when it snaps on. That keeps the red/black color transition seam the same all the way around the phone. Well, this is my take, at least.

Edit: In the picture showing the back of the phone, you can see the edge of the back cover barely at the very top of the picture.
 
what are those #s on the bottom left corner? if that's printed on the phone that's probably not good for whoever took the pic!

To be honest, I like that the back looks the way it does. I mean I'm sure that someone will make a new cover for it that's smoother. But this is something that makes it unique! Who cares what everyone else thinks about it, you know your phone is INCREDIBLE!!!
 
Has anyone discussed the pricing of this new phone? I owuld guess $599 w/o contact and $279 with 2 year.

I saw them as well. There is no confirmation it will be red... I mean, most likely now yes, but if he is a developer or tester then this could be a test unit and those numbers in the lower left seem to hint at that. If it is a test unit it would fit our theory that the test units have bright colors to distinguish them from non-test unit phones.

I'm not a big fan of the red either. I don't want my phone to stick out or look flashy. I'm not trying to impress anyone. *hit, that red will be like a night-light in my room at night :cool:

Yeah, will try to keep an open mind but this phone doesn't look nearly as sweet as the Desire...and the red may look cool initially...but I'm sure it will get old and look cheesy a few months down the road...kind of like a sports car starts to look cheesy when you look at it's hokey stripes and gimmicky looks once it's a few years old. I personally hate the red. In fact, I'm not usually so vanity driven but if the specs are similar to the N1 I might have to go with that phone instead. Already saw one in person and it is much nicer looking in the real.

This has been an interesting forum as of late!

I hear ya. I won't bash the red because some of the members really like it. It is different, but what I don't get about it is, is that (to me anyway) it doesn't look all that much like Verizon's red even. I would think that would be the main reason for adding the red to this phone since it is going to be on Verizon. In some pictures it is red, red and others it looks orange and the clear picture we have seen of the back plate definitely looks orange to me... I dunno, I guess we'll see!

I don't know what I'll do if it does turn out red.. If I can't get an N1 in store and this is red I might just be SOL. That wouldn't surprise me though.. I usually do end up SOL with this kinda stuff. And most everything else:(

I think it is micro USB and I'm not sure if they have been bottom-slotted. The one in the video was plugged in.. Anyone remember where it was plugged?

In the side

I gotta tell ya...after seeing the Desire, this one just doesn't do it for me. I know the specs are great, but the Desire looks hot!
