Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

I'm playing plumber now and waiting for a drain to clear. This is one of those times I would happily stand aside for a man to take over. (Or anyone really). The crap that came out of the drain was and so nasty.

Hahaha, sooooo naturally I had to take the back off my Nexie and sniff the battery, mine smells like mint too! Lol, perhaps the power of suggestion or my ice cream sandwich is full of mint chocolate chip! :)

I hesitated posting that here for fear of making a bunch of phone butt sniffers.:D But I was laughing out loud reading that at work today so I had to share. And no, I haven't sniffed the backside of my phone yet.

Nope. And its got family still occupying the drain. If the liquid plumber doesn't work I might have to call in the real plumbers. :(

Yikes! two words for you: hydrochloric acid :D No pipes = no problems :p

-----

Broke down this evening and ordered an external battery charger with the Y adapters so I guess I can charge the nexus and a spare battery at the same time, I think? Figured I might as well since I acquired a spare extended battery and I plan on heavy use during severe weather :)

I would recommend not using that. If you are on a septic system it can do more harm than good (my brother is a Licensed septic intaller). You may want to "call in a guy" to clean the trap or snake the pipe to clear the obstruction. If you are on public sewer, still not recommended, but it won't bork your own system.:D

I made the mistake one time of putting too much potato peels down the drain without hitting the disposal. It managed to block it up AFTER the disposal. That was fun to clear.

Thankfully not on septic. And tooooo late - already used the stuff. :D
Its just gotta stay clear till Saturday afternoon when I can hand it over to Dad.

Glad your not on your own system, Drano is bad news for that. PSA for folks that are on a private system (this is only from conversations with my brother, like rooting your phone, do your own research):p. Drano and the like clear your pipes but kill the natural bacteria in your tank the break down solids. Rid-Ex, and the like are also not recommended by reputable installers as they need to be added monthly and also counteract the natural bacteria in your tank. Plain yeast is OK as it enhances the natural bacteria.

OK, I'm done talking pooh. Back to sniffing the backside of my phone to see if its minty.:D

Hey everyone. Been out for a while (vaca). Just caught up.

So:

1) Anyone able to get Google Wallet prepaid cards working yet?
2) Still wondering if anyone is using a good password manager that works on both a desktop and android.

Thanks!!!
