Honestly I was a lurker when I had my Optimus V and just use info to mod the phone, I have not communicated in AC or AF. Until I got the Triumph on November then I introduce myself and open up more. AF is better to me and less clutter on the pages :)

LMFAO! :D Are you trying to make a funny joke? lol. AF probably has the most clutter out of all the forums because it's not as strict... Just like all this lol. Anyways I said I would stop...

theres too many errors when when you try to compile in apktool but if you let us know in a pm im sure either one of us can change it to whatever you like :)

Who uses apktool? Just use a file manager like 7zip and pull the file change it and replace it... No recompiling...

wrong.... lol

you can only see certain folders if you decompile that way inorder to see the values folder and many others in the framework-res.apk you have to decompile with Apk Manager (Apktool)

Sooooo are you saying that you could give me a downloadable zip file that I can flash? And that it can't be done on my end, but if I gave you the name I wanted you'd do it for me?

V1.4 has been great so far. A couple of things I'd still like to see

-Custom Carrier (even to just VM)
-BT fix
-Dimming soft buttons( like in CM7)

No screenshots, but the power button now has recovery and reboot option which is sweet. I personally can't complain, I have been using the screenshot app and it works great.
 
The ROM is good so far. There is a corruption of the theme inside the app Quick Settings, but it is still usable. However, I am having two problems. The worst problem was attempting to use the GPS it just would not lock on. Did this ROM make any changes to the stock GPS drivers? Using the Compass app, it oscillated between 8 and 9 satellites, but never got a lock. This sounded crazy to me. After waiting five minutes, I rebooted the phone and it locked on almost immediately.

My other problem I had under the stock ROM, but didn't have under CM7. My phone constantly miss-interprets my on-screen button pushes for scrolls, extremely annoying. I'm sure it is a hardware defect on my phone which CM7 fixed coincidentally. Any idea what I could do to fix it?

Only one other minor issue. I use Swype for my keyboard, but after every reboot, sooner or later, the ICS keyboard will force-close.
 
The touchscreen fix is a kernel based fix. If I can get someone to build a froyo kernel with the newest touchscreen improvements by whyzor I will include it for you guys.

About the ics keyboard fc'ing... check out the other keyboard that are included too. Theu should satasfy till we fix the problem :D

what screen shot app have you been using? i like that MIUI and CM7 have built in screen shots.
