Root [ROM] Froyocream Sandwich v2.0 released: 3/29

I have VM liked on my facebook, I posted a link to the petition, hopefully the people will read. I haven't seen that page filled since the Intercept update was to be released though, lol.

They keep deleting it, and I keep posting it. VM is getting pissy with me -_-

can someone make a template that we can just copy and paste onto Virgin Mobile's Facebook wall it would of course have to include the link to sign the petition :)

Is it your dream for the Motorola Triumph to get updated? Then help sign this petition and maybe it will come true. Once your done copy this and share with your friends if you want. Which petition? And maybe build upon this or make a different one lol

If you post it in the cmments of one of their posts the wont delete it...maybe they have it automaticallyremoved from their wall?

Posts don't auto delete. They have a monitor, he/she is annoying as all hell. Like all VM rep, they give the dumbest answers, and they delete posts because like said above, they can't handle the truth. The truth is, they were always capable of doing better, but don't. They also delete posts because they don't want a riot like when Froyo came out for the Intercept, it was a complete madhouse on that page. If word gets out people are willing to fight for MT Gingerbread, VM FB is probably afraid of people all figuring out they can cause all hell, or furthermore just leave the service out of frustration. I for one have been a happy customer for like 8 years, just very disappointed in the phone service wise. Optimus did way better with service/data/gps, for being half the price. Ive owned like 14 of their phones, and always gotten great coverage, until now.

Off-Topic: I would like to help in the GingerCream Sandwich effort :)

On-Topic: I would like to help in the FroyoCream Sandwich effort :)
(just kidding but I did help out)
PS: Hows ROM development? Sorry that I been inactive for a while :)

We should totally organize a thing where tons of people post that link to virgin mobile's fb page at the exact same time

never mind, foxfi crashes the phone

edit: maybe I should read more. the app notes say specifically that wifi mode does NOT work on the MT, only the bluetooth mode

Yes, but also in the app description they note that it will be fixed for the Triumph in the next update :)
They also mention that due to someone mentioning their app on a popular forum site they have gained lot of attention and are backed up on responding to support emails (or something like that).. haha, could that be you? ;)

I was using CM7 then CM9 for the longest time (I really wanted to keep using them) but there was just too many little details that were not working right. So I went back to stock and had forgotten how well it actually worked (for me at least) it performed very well really. I did however miss the look and feel of gingerbread and ICS so I installed this rom hoping to get some of that back. It works well. I like being able to overclock and underclock a little bit. I also like that I can leave wifi and bluetooth on and the phone will deep sleep when turned off (something CM7 and CM9 cannot do yet). When I installed it it seemed a little laggy when scrolling screens and menus. after deleting some of the included apps it was still acting laggy. So I deleted the btwlancoex file and bingo! it smoothed right out and everything seems to still work right :) So now this is my new favorite rom all it needs is a few ui tweaks like the black text on the black menus and the "clear" button on the notification pane is hard to read as well. all in all this is my new daily driver. THANKS!

There is an easier way. It is linked in the all things root guide. (on my phone atm, so easier to refer you there :)).
