Anyone still talking to the HTC tech SarabSingh? He disappeared after just a few posts that one night.

Aaron said that he is going to do his best to get more details on the specs of the Incredible. If there is anything earth-shattering that he says on Twitter, I will let you know - if he doesn't come here and comment on it himself.

I will come here first if I get more deets, haven't heard back yet. You guys are hard to keep up with.

Nash I don't think you were referring to me, I just thought you guys would like to see some more pictures and hear another opinion, I am not looking for anything in return just trying to contribute however I can.

If anyone missed it earlier, because this thread is CRAZY long here is my original thoughts from Jan 15th the first time I saw the phone. I will update it with new opinions and thoughts as soon as I have some time to put some serious thought into it.

Unless you think thats a waste of my time Nash ;) just playin

^ So that was true all this time. Just goes to show...

Anyway, are you for sure about the RAM or is that just what you heard. A while back you said the (sad) 256 of ram.

Nah man, I wasn't talking about you. You're the kind of "informant" if you will, that I like. You're easy to talk to and you aren't all vague and most of all, you don't make one little vague post and then disappear.

So, I'd just like to say that it's nice to finally have someone who is responsible trying to get us information. I've had it with these kamikaze posters who post something wild and extreme and then either can't back it up or just completely disappear. If you can't back it up, just say so. If you didn't get a picture or couldn't take one because of privacy stuff, just say so. We'll understand.

Post 3000. hmmm... my opinion? VZW would be wise to take notice and deliver something fantastic or do I dare say, Incredible?

Oh...... I just put two and two together. You're the original guy who saw the phone! Dude, you started this whole thing and this obsession! haha

We were talking about you in another thread a LONG time ago, or so it seems. It's good to see that you found this thread and that you're in here now. I know you just got to see it in a kind of low lit/dark room, but if you can get to your original source and get us any info, it would be much appreciated. Again...good to have you in here and thanks for your information back in January. It kept us all going in here for a long time.

Nash, you may have picked up on this too, but he's the source of all the pics last night that Montana posted - and those were taken last night

He is? Well dang... I know he's on here, but I'll just throw this out...

Does he HAVE the phone? He could answer a few things for us pretty easily. Such as:

Does it record video in 720p HD?

Is the camera, in fact, 5mp or is it bigger?

I mean, that's pretty much all I really want to know. Mainly, does it record in HD? That's my major question. And yeah, another picture of the back plate would be nice so that we can compare it to the other leaked pictures/video that we've already seen and see if they are identical.

Also, do you think that this is what the final product will look like or do you, like some others, believe that this is just a prototype and the final phone will look much different? You may not have those answers, but I just thought I'd throw them out regardless in case you have any insight into any of that.

I'm sorry... Here ya go. ;)

That is the best post/graphic I have seen. Well done.

I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Incredible. I just found this forum and decided to finally join a discussion instead of lurking.

Don't want to steal his thunder, but I'm not sure how often he comes back to check. I believe he said the phone is being tested by his buddy; the phone is definitely 5MP; he is attempting to confirm the RAM for us.

Yeah, if he can confirm the RAM for us and the video capture, I'll be set. I'm already doin' just fine waiting for this phone. I don't even care if it releases in May. I'm fine with that. If it's being delayed, that mostly just means that they're making it faster or prettier. So, I'll wait till May if that's what they're doing.

Can someone explain something about the RAM for me? I was disappointed in the news of 256, but now I am reading that depending on programming that may not be so bad?

The sad part is that in may, we will all be in a different subforum absorbing every rumor about this new HTC 1.5 GHz phone with Sense UI and android 3.1.

Anyway, it doesn't look as good as the real desire, but I'll manage.

The one thing I won't do is reward Verizon by purchasing a phone that is behind the several front line phones on most of the other networks.

But I WILL reward them by buying a phone to use on the nations most reliable network. ZERO dropped or incompleted calls in 5 years in Phoenix, Tucson, Ft. Lauderdale, Dallas, or Chicago. Yes, all big cities, but still I don't think many users of other carriers can make that claim.

here here! :)

If you are referring to my earlier post, as I assume, programming can directly effect how my RAM is used for a program/function. That said, you can only impact it so much, and the industry would rather rely on newer, better hardware than more efficient code. Being the titans that they are, I'd hope Google can give us better code (as has been evidenced by the reports of an overall snapper OS on various devices over various Android upgrades). 256 is still a puny number, and bugs me IF IT IS THE FINAL NUMBER. I'm hoping for more, but the handful of user reports on the Incredible seem to indicate it's snappy nonetheless.

I, as well as others, would be VERY interested to hear about the differences and improvements from your time with the Incredible in Jan and your time with it the past few days. I mean, is there anything that strikes you right away as "Incredible" or anything above and beyond the N1? Or is it essentially the same phone + Sense UI in a different casing? Thanks again!

Unless the RAM is above 256, im lost on this phone. Looks thickish; not my cup of tea anymore. oh how the desire wouldve been perfect for VZW

Perhaps I should have been a little more clear. I stand by my original remark...but I may indeed buy an N1 and go with Verizon. Now this might still be rewarding them...but only for their good network. I should have said...I won't reward them by buying the Incredible if it's a lesser phone. And if the N1 didn't exist I would have to say I've been quite satisfied with Sprint and would probably just stay with them until Verizon gives me a phone worth switching for....and of course this a personal thing. I'm sure Verizon won't miss me...but at least I have my principles! FWIW...I've been very satisfied with Sprint.

Can someone who is in the know please answer me. Is this as far out as we go with rumored android phones for verizon. What i mean is, is there supposed to be a more powerful phone coming out in the summer or fall? Im new to the whole cell phone rumor thing so i dont know how early the rumors start or even how many phones HTC is planning on rolling out to big red this year.
