Okay, so I already have the 4.0.4 radios and the updater bootloader, so is there a need for the GetReady package in my case?

As far as Wallet, I live in the Silicon Valley, so I probably have more access to NFC payment then some in the watering hole; I could very well be wrong. I use it at 7-11, fast food places (when I am being bad with my food choices) and gas stations. Even Noah Bagel's take NFC payments.

So, I may give this Crossbreed a shot...

These folks (Dawnirae & Han Solo) must have been around before I became active on the thread (somewhere between 4,000 and 6,000 posts). I feel like I should introduce my self.

Nice to meetcha, Chris! Yes, I've been away for a while...you know, life gets in the way and all. I don't get nearly as much time to feed my inner phone geek as I would like these days. :)

Haha, speaking of critter children, we adopted another dog this past weekend. (We now have 4!) He is quite old based on the vet's examination, and has some moderate health issues (partially deaf, partially blind, skin condition, thyroid issue, and gnarly teeth.) Someone dumped him in the woods, to leave him to die (which in his condition wouldn't have taken long). We don't really understand why, because its very clear he was well fed, and well loved (will nag you for a belly rub, and clearly was a lap dog, and definitely knows what "treat" means). Its sad, but is our gain, because he is a well behaved, loving dog.

Oh...I do love you. :) I love happy ending rescue stories. I've volunteered with dog rescues for the past 7 years, and have grown quite fond of the seniors and the ones that nobody else wants. They seem so appreciative of every bit of love they get. Contrats on your new family member!!! What a lucky pooch! :):):):):):)

I didn't have data all day on my phone, but thankfully I have access on my work computer, as I would also be pretty bummed not to have access here.
 
So...wine tasting tonight with my bride to-be and her parents...trying to decide what to buy by the case for September...ummmm...need food.
Good thing I dont have to drive....just saying! Oh and my best man and his fiance are coming over to help too....jeez, wine and finger foods all night!!

Sounds very nice! Gawd, hearing you talk about the wedding makes me realize how much I didn't do (mom did a LOT) as far as the actual planning and how much I couldn't do (was really only missing the shotgun if you know what I mean). I don't think I envy you 99% of it though. But wine tasting sounds like fun!!
 
wine tasting = fun...budget....= not fun. We blew our budget on the caterrrrerrrr...oh well. Gonna be nice though, well worth planning ahead. The doing everything WE can part can be fun , but stressful. But we have a huge advantage...her mom has been doing the florals at weddings for 30 years and is now the scheduler for a venue here in our town....so she knows the vendors and they owe her favors...what could be expensive is still the same quality...just less money. Makes it nice, but still pushing our budget...purple and grey are our colors, steak for dinner, and wine, beer, and a margarita for drinks. My brother in law to make the small cake, but pie and coffee for desert, and a DJ that is the hottest in town..can't beat that kind of party!!

Ryan, you're "going out in style." :D

We were non-conformists big time, so we wanted to avoid the wedding planning "debates" over who, what, where, when and of course how much?! So we just went to the courthouse to do the deed with immediate family. Then took all our friends to a bowling alley we rented out for the night, and let the alley's bar and semi-gourmet restaurant run a tab. We had a DJ play oldies, bowling shirts with our names embroidered, and that was that. Wedding and reception right down the alley. I'm sure BB can now create some pretty good triple entendres.

Seriously, good luck with the planning. Sounds like you're on a good track. But one tip: repeat after me: "yes, dear." :rolleyes:
 
Ryan, sounds like you're on the right track. We had a bunch of things that helped out for planning our wedding. My wife works in catering so she knew a lot about all the event planning needed. We had to make two trips to NC; first to pick the site (went to 3, it was obvious which one we wanted), second to pick the caterer (tried two, one was obvious). Florist was real simple. She was a nice small operation out of Asheville; grows all the flowers on site so it's very seasonal. Caterer used tons of local produce and meats (we just had a traditional bbq). I ordered all the booze through my restaurant so got it all at wholesale cost (and yeah, transporting it from DC to NC was, ahem, not legal). Also, the photographer was a friend of my wife's stepfather whom he traded some carpentry work for photographing (even put a book together for us).
We also made it kind of a weekend trip for everyone since nearly all were traveling quite a distance. For the rehearsal dinner, we had a Mexican fiesta! We even found a Mariachi band come to play for (most everyone's) surprise. It was so much fun.

Good Morning Everyone. I still am without data at my desk this morning. I get 4G as soon as I step outside, but my crappy 3G connection is gone. Hopefully I get it back soon, its torture without it, no pandora, no twitter, no weather, email, etc. YUCK!

No no. Was speaking about the past. I did just watch Star Wars with that guy. Our 'not a date' night was fun but never went any further. I do have a bf thanks to this place though. :D (see, you did miss a lot)
