Ah, well then, my apologies good sir.
Regarding all things Incredible, I'm beginning to agree with one of Nash's older posts. I don't think we're gonna get that much new at this point. We've sleuthed the hell outta this thing. As far as I can think, all that we could get now are new pictures, confirmed specs, confirmed dates, or massive overhauls.
That said, I had a thought regarding the RAM (everyone's favorite subject lol). Typically, phones are market to a specific sector of the market. Your high end phones (Droid), low end knock-offs (Devour), trendy phones (LG's...anything really), etc. All the specs on this phone seem to indicate a high end phone, excluding the rumored RAM. Short of HTC utterly nerfing an otherwise high-end device, it seems likely that this isn't an accurate number for the final product. The more I think about it, the more I feel my initial theory of cheap/spare hardware for testing features is accurate. I think HTC feels the phone is functional for testing at 256, so that's all they're putting in the test models. Only so much testing is needed for slapping in more memory, so it seems logical that they'd build the cheapest possible functional test models. The end-phase test phones would likely have more RAM than the others, but odds are, we'll never see those. Those are most likely in-house only. After all, RAM testing is largely automated, isn't it?
Edit: I'm guessing I'm wrong on this, but why is the GSM/CDMA thing such a problem for manufacturers. Shouldn't it just me a matter of putting one cellular radio or another in the phone at time of build?
