time/clock not correct on phone

I just got my lg esteem activated with metropcs about 6 hours ago.

The time/clock is correct in the screen area of the phone, but at the top right area next to the small battery icon the time/clock is not correct (it shows 5 hours ahead of what it should be)

I figure the time zone is not set correctly, how can I fix this?

just reboot ur phone it should b accurate after reboot

Actually Im a coca cola junkie. I just started typing and that's what came out. Hahaha. It's usually best that way...........unless your pissed off.
