Are there any rumors regarding Motorolas next higher end device?

Nothing yet and believe me, I search every day for some sort of leak. Hard part is, Verizon has had such a long term relationship with Motorola, that they get a lot more publicity with their devices, as well as priority, much like HTC has had a strong relationship with HTC. The most recent leaked pic is of another verizon moto android phone, similar in style to razr, but bigger...so, that's obviously Motora's competitor to the samsung galaxy note (sorry, meant Note, not Tab).

That said, since the MoPho was the first Motorola superphone offered by Sprint, I can't imagine that they'd shy away from increasing their promotional efforts. If we're going on timeframe of the MoPho rumors last year, I'd say we hear talks around May. And I wouldn't be surprised if Sprint focuses on Motorola being the new phone manufacturer of choice for business over blackberry. The Mopho has been absolutely the best smartphone i've owned for both business and personal use.

That's the beauty of Android though. Different needs for different people. Accessories are extremely important for me and especially since there are so many Android devices, it's important for me to check what the manufacturer designs for the phones first, prior to branching out to 3rd party accessories. Motorola by far outshines the rest of the companies for this. Since my phone is used for both personal and business, Motorola found a way to do this the best (from what I've seen thus far).

The One X would likely have been my phone of choice, if that came out instead of the EVO 3D. Since it didn't, it put me in a position where Motorola announced that they'd have their first full Android superphone for Sprint...and the MoPho was definitely worth the wait and more suitable for my needs than the EVO 3D.

Right now, my intention is to wait for Motorola's next Sprint superphone...compare between that and the One X and which one would suit my needs. If neither really would provide anything more for me in my daily life, then I'll be keeping the MoPho until the next year. I'm just glad that HTC got rid of the 3D b.s. I hated the 3D aspect of last year's EVO.

Indeed! The Evo 3D was trash, that's exactly why I didn't upgrade! Been with HTC so long, I guess you could say I have a bias! Knowing there are other phones other currently stronger than my Evo 4g. I just told my self I'll wait for another HTC phone that intrigues me! But your right about the needs, because I cracked my screen in 20 million place and will be traveling more...accessories time!

Hopefully they make one with 64gb. With 32, after system storage you only get 26. That's not enough for me.

That would be extremely good if that happened! But the only reason I said i wanted 32GB is because ATT version come with 16GB and you would be left with 10GB. I would rather 26GB over 10GB! If a glitch in the matrix happen and we got 64GB, I would order every accessories they have....just kidding every accessories isn't needed! lol!

That would be sweet. I have a 64 gb card right now. I had a vibrant a long time ago and it had 16 gb internal plus a card slot. It was a nice setup...to bad the phone sucked, lol

I thought dual core was outdated tech and non removable batteries or not having an SD card slot was controlling, you know, like the iPhone. Now its ok though? I'll pass.

I have to agree with this. Its going backwards in tech. I may buy it without a removable battery but no way I'll give up a microSD card slot.

Like everyone else and myself have pointed out the S4 uses a completely different architecture than the older dual-cores, and even the "new" Tegra 3. The S4 is better, more cores doesn't equal anything when they are running on an older architecture.

I'm currently using the Photon....i have had no problems with it......i jst start to get phone envy when i see something newer and better comes out.

I'm the same way you are. Since my Thrill finally got 2.3.5 I'm pretty satisfied with it but I envy the 4.5 or 4.7 inch screens. Other then that I'm happy with the dual TI OMAP.

I'm a little curious how the phone will perform in real world. I don't rely much on benchmarks, but it is nice eye candy. It will be cool to see what Sprint & HTC have up their sleeves next week.

64gb internal with option for 64gb external ideal!

Just had to quote myself, since the topic came out about 64gb internal and 64gb external:

SDSDQY-064G-A11A SanDisk 64GB Mobile Ultra microSDHC, up to 30 MB/Sec, Enabled Class 6 Memory Card with SD Adapter

I just swooped one up. $79.99 is pretty darn good. I'm sure prices will be down even more 1 year from now, but I tend not to wait, so for those of you that are like me and don't want to wait for even more of a price drop, better pick it up.

Thanks, been looking for a 64gb micro sd for sometime now that was under a $100.

Well if AT&T would stop being lazy and release the damn thing we would find out lol.

Wow...Nice find! For only 79.99 that's cheap compared to the 32GB when they first released!

Yeah, I even posted wrong. It's 4 cents cheaper than that and with free shipping and no tax (at least, in cali), so worth it.

Extremely worth it! I will get it just to have it on stanby, because the One X doesn't have a mirco sd slot! (wishful thinking) I wanted Sprint to alter it and have a sd slot...

I'm thinking that since sprint doesn't use SIM cards, the next EVO(if it looks anything like the One X), will be able to replace that space with a MicroSD slot.

As for the 64 GB card posted above, don't all cell phones now have it capped off at 32, hence the "Up to 32GB of SD card storage" that's usually stated in the specs, or will the 64 GB work fine?

Nope. There are many reports out there for the newer phones (oldest phone I saw was the Thunderbolt) that said the 64gb identified all the files no problem. That said, I'm sure that will all depend on the phone.

Sorry, I should have said besides the new S4. Everything else is going backwards, just IMHO

sprint doesn't use SIM because they are on CDMA and WiMax, two NON sim technologies. LTE requires a sim to run though so the one x for sprint WILL indeed have a SIM card, similar to verizion LTE phones having SIM. whether it is removable or not is a different story

Well, that is, unless you have a photon ;)
