Have an ICS ROM that runs on the Optimus M yet? Also, has anyone gotten Beats to work yet?

Thanks!

ICS runs, just not that well, I got beats somewhat working but I'm not completely sure

Can you link me to the Beats? Also, I've been having problems with my Play Store... Hardly anything will download! I think it started happening after I flashed your Miui ROM haha....

Yeah, the google play is a google thing.. It's been having issues, so I don't think it's my ROM.

I'm almost 100% sure it isn't because of of your ROM, I was just saying in general... I actually love the Miui port... Its just it gives me problems sometimes, so I'm on Bobz ROM right now... Is there anything I can do to help? I've never done anything ROM wise but I am really interested in trying to start.

If we ever have anything we need testers for, but i'll let you know something.. I started by just opening a rom in like 7zip or something and just look through it. Once you find out where everything is, like the wifi and data drivera are in /system/bin, and everything else, then you can just customize it to your liking, and when problems come up, you know where they are and how to fix it. just start out little, and build up with bigger things like kernel tweaks. xD good luck! :p

And that might be because we ported it from an LG Optimus V, and it was made for Verizon..

I can't download anything from the market, it says: "There is insufficient space on the device". But I got over 1Gb on sd card and over 100 Mb on the phone. It just started today or yesterday I think. It was good before, didn't change ROM or anything. Will appreciate any help. Thank you.

That's google's fault and the fix for that is somewhere on BobZhome's CM7 thread....I've had that problem before, just post on that thread and say you have that error and someone will help you, or you can just read through the old posts...

EDIT:
Here's the fix

This is a Market issue, not rom.
Try moving [deleting not moving] the 01mvdalvik file out of init.d, located here: /system/etc/init.d/01mvdalvik, clear market cache and data, reboot recovery, wipe cache/dalvik_cache, reboot.

you must have a root explorer app search it on market, there are free ones

The hidden menus are not implement into any of the custom cyanogenmods. So you'll have to use qpst or backup the rom your using and go to like kelsos rom or any of the default metro roms

Search for "Market Fix" in the Google Play Store.

So, if I flash Kelsos ROM, and recover to my old ROM, will the PRL stay?

Just a small correction. The Optimus V is a Virgin Mobile Phone, the Verizon one is named LG Vortex.

LOL it hard to keep track. I did not know there were so many different Optimus'es in the wild. I knew about 6 but there are like 20 or so now and days.
Yeah, right? Have you seen the Optimus Vu? It looks so ugly. xD Who would want that screen layout?
