Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

I noticed this a long time ago and switched to a dark background. Also, I have tapatalk set to the dark display style. And it really is the white that kills it, not so much with colors.

I play a soduku game with a white background that crushes my battery relative to something like angry birds.

Yep, I can play the Sims or Angry Birds and not affect the battery a ton, but the same amount of facebook or web browsing kills it if I have any brightness whatsoever. Really toning down the screen brightness helps a little, but white still kills it.

Haha, I forgot about dark background for tapatalk. Thanks!

I was going to try and listen to my tigers on opening day. Tune in radio doesn't get me the game, nor does any other that I have found. Looks like mlb has an app for 15 dollars. Does anyone know if this is the only way we can listen to mlb games on our phones?

Over the internet / smartphone yes, that is the only legal way to get it. MLB, like all major sports, has separate licensing deals for TV/Internet/Satelite content. BTW, its 0-0, but what else could you expect with Verlander going against Lester. I'm listening on an old AM radio.;):D

Thanks pupkact. Anyone use the mlb app? Seems very expensive, and would like to know if it is worth it.

Ugh. Actually just went to the gym. I hurt already but I know i need to get back into a schedule

Yeah I am going to try to run tonight, haven't been since the 5k. But with two kids sick, thunderstorms in the vicinity, and a final project due tomorrow its not looking good.

Ummm, sounds like a run should be long and far with all that's going on. :)

I have an acre of land and get plenty of exercise keeping it up. I just categorize muscle groups differently than you guys. There's the leaf raking muscles, the snow shoveling muscles, the rotor tilling muscles, the garden weeding muscles, the brush burning muscles, etc. But it does suck to be sore.

I actually enjoy a good physical sore that comes from exercise. That tells me I did some actual exercise and my muscles are rebuilding.

Unfortunately today and the next couple are pretty busy so I may not get to work out and that could be bad because I still enjoy eating and drinking. I really don't want to become a "jumbo" airline captain.

Sometimes being sore is good. ;)

I decided to delete my post, lest the Powers That Be scold me for posting such as a Guide...

Gist of the story:

An on-again, off-again ex-girlfriend barges into the guy's home and grabs him by the you-know-whats, almost tearing them off his body.

He was rushed to - I am NOT making this up - Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana :p

I don't know if it is a pick-up line, but it worked. All I said was..."You know what sucks? You're working and I gotta leave".

Honesty and simplicity.
