Root GPS Fix for rooted devices.

If your GPS is taking too long to fix, replace /etc/gps.conf with attached gps.conf file using any root explorer.

I was able to get a fix in 20-30 seconds.

I have downloaded the file but where to put it in A75, I dont understand it. My fone is rooted and root explorer installed but I cant find the gps.conf file anywhere in the place you told.
Please eleborately explain how to add this file. Thank you

Thanks a lot. Couldn't find the original file though. I just copied it in the folder. I think I felt a quicker fix this time :)

tried randomly changing the permissions but it fails!!

Btw guys,just FYI, there is no gps.conf file in A75...
So I don't know whether this works or not, but if u hv got fixed once then u will get next fix bit earlier, that's without this file...
Even EPO technology from MediTek works good, A75 gps takes time for 1st fix with that, afterwards it get me fixed in abt 10-20 sec...
N for permissions,
Put the file at /system/etc/
Long tap on file,
Tap Permissions,
Set rw-r--r-- (rw for owner, rest r only)
