don't you know how this game works yet? We post specs, and we check back tomorrow on boygeniusreport/androidcentral/phandroid/engadget for our source story. We just need to give it the 24 hr marinade for all the other sites to come here and report rumor as fact.

agreed

If you can support her, and her college, you can take a try. She's picky. ;)

hahaha

On a side note, our own Phandroid is saying HTC Legend will launch march 23 in UK. Maybe the 23rd is going to be a big launch day world wide with several phones launching.

Either that or everyone else is gonna get a launch and we won't lol

Let's see if that shows up on the BGR tomorrow! :p ;)

Customized Sense UI for VZW? There is no such thing. Do you mean there is a VZW widget or app? I highly doubt VZW will do anything to Sense UI. Sorry.

The info comes from something that can't be linked here.

One reason I believe these specs. They mention the key signifier in my book, a camera with > 5 MP. I still don't quite get how the mainstream sites haven't picked up on the flickr pictures evidence that we found. It seems they've picked up everything else, and our forum is the only one that seems to have reasonable belief that it'll be sporting a different camera than the 5MP which has been in almost every set of leaked specs.

Ok guys, I hate to be "that guy", but can we please start checking our links a little more closely? There have already been several posts about the Eris getting replaced by the Incredible on April 1st, and they ALL are little more than spam blogs, regurgitating what they read on Berryscoop.

I'm all for real news, but this doesn't do anything but stir up the forum.

I don't know...just theorizing here but I *could* see that the Incredible could be a high end phone and replace the Eris. The Droid could drop down to being the "mid-level" phone, essentially replacing the Eris in price point with the high end Incredible replacing it as the Android phone w/o physical keyboard. What do you think? Possible?

absolutely.. it's like a game. when there's no real and verifiable news, just make it up! ;)

All these sites are worried about being late to the game, so they will just post whatever is said about any piece of technology because of the fear of not being the "definitely technology website".

Wish there was some actual news about this phone, or that NKT would tell us a little bit more from his supposed connection

I'm so jealous of the guy who walks into a VZW store sometime after the Incredible is released and he says:

Hey my contract is up and i am looking for a smart phone...whats available?

VWZ girl says: Well we have this new HTC android phone called "the incredible"....seems to be getting good reviews from everyone. Its on sale this week for $99 with contract.

Guy say: Hmmmm...Incredible...never heard of it...but if you say its good i will take it.

walks out with nice phone....after 10 minutes of research.

is this the same thing as AMOLED? cuz i'm pretty sure that's the kind of screen the incredible is getting.

Yeah it's the same thing. AM stands for "active matrix" which is pretty much a given these days. In the dinosaur era of LCD, there were passive matrix LCD displays that had about 40ms black-to-white times.
