Root [QUESTION]-AOSP ROM w/WORKING SKYPE?-

Hey guys,
I've searched hi and low on this one, and havent found a direct answer. I just recently started using skype for work, and had never needed a ROM that supported it before. Now, when i need a (aosp) ROM that does support it, I cant find one. I'm open to a senseless version, but I prefer aosp. I saw a thread in Jan. of this year that ocnbreeze responded to, but there was no resolution as to what rom would work. I'm currently running decks GB, and if ANYONE knows of a SKYPE fix for this ROM, I would be very greatful, otherwise, i suppose any rom will do (aosp or otherwise...)

ok. i tried this fix, but it doesnt work on decks. i guess i'll flash CM and see if it takes:rolleyes:
still would love to hear from someone who has experience with this particular issue

stumbled across a new senseless ROM trying to find the SKYPE fix:

just flashed it and it is fast and smooth and has everything working (including skype)
 
Thanks. Yeah, that's a weird one. I tried that fix on decks and assumed it work. It didn't and I don't know why. Selah. Just didn't want to go back to CM so I just ended up looking for a new ROM.

I really don't do video chat for personal use (though I may begin to do so) it's for work and I have to use Skype. It's just not an option to use something else.

We use video chat for overseas chats, which I guess is free calling too. But, the video component is a must.

Pretty sure it's the same fix, so prob when the deck update 2.3.7 came out the fix ceased to work. I'll give it a shot on 2.3.5 and let y'all know. Thanks again.
