Root Helpp please !!

yeah, i gave up trying to find the bin/file/process that enables it. had the same problem after updating to zvD, i know others have it too. hey if you find a way, post it up
 
ive tried before, someone else gave me the sound, no go, tried other sounds too, songs, ringtones, .ogg/.mp3/.avi, nothing
 
If your putting it in the right spot then either something else is running in its place or its not in the boot settings in an xml or something. Idk
 
do you think if i change the stock rom that change everything , i scare to death to do that , because is something happengs i cant afford another phone
 
for you, i wouldnt mess with the phone period, you asked about putting the jingle on your sd card.

press back, at the top of the thread list there is one stickied called "all things root", click on that, and read. read, read, read.

as far as roms go, dude, everyone is running one just about albeit stock, or black plague, and if you do brick it, one of the guys with a colorful name will help you out step by step, even if they have to get you on gtalk. shoot, ill help you out to the max of my extent, but, we will not do it for you

Couldn't have said it better myself. People are just skipping the root guide that has information for days and is going straight to asking a question that's been asked a hundred times before.

Not saying this is evident here, just in general. So no one needs to have their period of what i just said. Lol

edit, i have been on broken out rom for the past couple days and just realized now..... theres boot sound! going to try and copy alot of files and compare them to the stock zvd rom to find the missing one
