Nice. Well, I would definitely do the same thing, making money to live on is definitely more important.

Also, I sent you a PM. Not vital, just something I am working on that I could use some help on that I haven't found elsewhere. :)

yea but cm7 has jit and all the performance mods.... does stock++ have jit?

wondering too... does this cm7 rom come stock with ext4? or do i have to format it?

yes, im a gadget guy, i have 5 pcs, 5 laptops, and over 5 tables, and a few phones (the ones that havent gotten stolen yet.... geeze thats a problem...)

gotta have performance... infact im gonna ditch this phone soon and get the lg connect dual core.... but... if i can load cyanogenmod and all the extras, might get a few extra bucks for it when and if i sell it...

edit: btw, is there any work planned on the radio? (roaming status?)

Read. The. Thread. The roaming is just something Req has to clean up later.
Also Stock++ almost as well as CM7.2 without those extra gidgets and gadgets. So honestly you'd be fine.
 
:confused:why dont my widgets show up on my widget list for this rom? How can i fix this issue? Ive been trying to put a clock weather widget on here all day? They work on the ++ rom so it isnt a kernel issue. please help. thanks in advance:confused:

that should fix mms for this rom also
after flashing rom, reboot into rom at least once then back into recovery, mount system and data, then flash this zip. worked for me on miui.
btw this will install a modded version of the mms.apk
*you MIGHT need pull the metro pcs mms send apn.xml from the attached zip and restore it with APN backup restore also.

Well as I can see from the MIUI thread, you clearly have it working. Is there anyway you can post clearer steps though? Not that what you posted is incorrect it's just a little jumbled and hard to follow, I ended up apparently doing it wrong..

Edit: Got it working, can confirm that this definitely fixes MMS. Albeit, it makes the MMS.apk WEIRD.

the steps i posted above should be all you need, just flash the fix with sys/data mounted after booting into the ROM at least once. it has a modded stock mms.apk so it will have the stock look
**i have not tested this with CM7, only Miui***

That fix did work for the MMS but the icons and text that display for the menu on messaging is all mixed up and confusing. Really strange.

Clear data and let it sit for a little bit i left mine alone last night after getting errors and tried it this morning and it worked so try just letting it sit for a bit without going on to it

It does work, except now, everything even simple one sentenced texts gets sent as multimedia ... -__-

i didnt test it on cm7, i said it should work, seeing as Bos miui is based off reqs cm7..im about to flash cm7 and see how this works. it works great on miui so idk

thanks. this worked great for me. i think it actually improved my mms in gosms

It does work, I have confirmation and proof from photos I sent from my phone to my email yesterday.
 
nice to know progress is being made...

i did have a few errors while testing.... when phone comes out of sleep, and you make or recieve a phone call... DSP MANAGER crashes.. and reboots the phone....

several other issues involving crash/reboots.... mostly involving comming out of sleep.. id rate the stability at 90%, not many stability bugs, but when they do hit... its a doozey...

i actually had to revert to stock... this is a great rom, and im sure i will download it when its not beta.... but i need gps and functionality.. my job depends on it... AWESOME WORK GUYS, keep it up!
