Wow. The VZW reps finally came to their senses.

NKT, big thanks for your stuff man!

One question. Do you guys think that this phone will have a big rooting community. The only thing that is holding me back from this phone is all the ROMs and themes that the Nexus has.

You show me a picture where it says HTC Sense on the back of the Eris and I will thank every one of your posts from now on.

I am sure it will. My Samsung i760 had a lot of that kind of support and it wasn't as heavily touted as this beast is.
 
51 minutes to "catch up from this morning"...great info..

Can you compare this phone to the eris? I bought the eris and returned it inside my 30 days ( no restocking if anyone cares)...i returned it because it was so slowwwww and the buttons were so hit or miss...just a real clumsy phone to use.
If you have used an eris..how does this compare?

Our source, on the forum, had his hands on it today. 6 gb of ROM is not correct or verified. In fact, the guy who had his hands on it today got a little miffed at your reporting this spec.

This phone is one to get excited about, but let

Ok, then... carry on. If you can pay for college, you can take a shot at it. Her picture was in the paper for being in her college's opera, btw. She's an opera singer like her mother and father! :)
 
Well im glad some info is finally being released about this phone!And its spring break so i can be on these forums like i used to be!

Specs sound pretty good, But is everyone satisfied with the look of the phone?? Right now im still loving the Desire. Am the only one who thinks it doesnt look as sexy as HTC's other latest phones? I feel like this should have been released last year (lookwise)

That sounds about right. I think CTIA is March 23rd, isn't it? Likely we will see lots of new stuff then.

Also about the Sense text... all HTC phones running sense have that scripted on the back cover.

Now, i know this isnt the final version...so that's probably the reason...but just saying. Check for yourself... there isnt a HTC phone with Sense that doesnt have that...

From the evidence we have of the only HTC Android phone to be on Verizon, it looks like the Eris definitely doesn't have any text that says anything about Sense on the back, so this could very well be the final production version.

Edit: Replaced the photo with a link...I couldn't make the photo any smaller...IDK what i'm doing :D
